Enforcer™ PUC™ Pumper - Strasburg, PA

The Strasburg Volunteer Fire Company is now equipped with the ultimate #Enforcer #Pumper, making them more prepared than ever before!
Operating as a rescue pumper, it has fire suppression and vehicle rescue capabilities. Due to the wide variety of operations this apparatus will be responsible for, it is critical to maximize compartment space. With the Pierce #PUCPump design, apparatus storage space was expanded for ¬all essential equipment and tools. On the front bumper, there is a compartment that will store a battery-operated rescue tool for rapid deployment. Crosslays will allow the preloading of hose offering efficiency and ease for firefighters. Off the rear, a large diameter discharge will allow the distribution of water to other apparatus on scene in a relay scenario. 30-feet of large diameter hose will be stored on the rear for drafting operations. On the officer’s side rear compartment, an oil dry hopper configuration allows an increased amount of oil dry to be carried. A train horn was mounted to this apparatus for safety, and ties back to their historic train community. #StrasburgPA
