Wow what a touching moment there at the end. Poor Ragnarok I felt his sadness, disappointment and embarrassment. With all his family and friends being there to support him, obviously he didn't want to get smashed 0-4. But hey man you have nothing to feel bad for, you worked hard 10 years to get here, you played overall pretty solid all tournament and you lost probably to the best player of all time in sc2. As a Terran main and a Maru fan since for ever back in early WoL, obviously feeling great and proud for my boy. What an inspiration for anyone, truly deserved G5L. The goat of Sc2 Terran as Slayers Boxer was and then the Terminator Flash in Sc1. Artosis, my dude... thanks for everything along with Tasteless. My favorite caster by far, can only wish you and your family the best for this new life project you will begin in Canada. Thank you for countless hours of entertainment. He looked like the best player for the entire tournament barring the championship against Maru. The stage and moment was too big for Ragnarok this year, but I Don't think his finals appearance was a fluke, he played incredibly well all season and could easily be back in the finals in the future.

Just wanted to say thank you for all of these years. I truly believe I wouldn’t be here alive today without GSL. ❤ for many of us it was never just a game but solace in some of the hardest points of our lives. I truly feel very deep sadness today but I truly knew that someday this day would come and to see arty doing this for his family means it’s the only choice that makes sense. Aww man, I'm tearing up here at the end. I've been watching the GSL since 2012, its been an amazing decade. I found myself enjoying Tastosis banter more than the games. I've laughed out loud so many times, so many wonderfully entertaining nights spent watching those two. To say an end of an era is an understatement. Tastosis and the GSL were one of the things that kept me sane during the lockdowns, I could escape from my problems watching them cast with a glass of wine. So many things in my life have changed but these two were a constant throughout. It almost feels like the last shred of my twenties which I had carried with me into my thirties has ended. Wish I could have gone to see them live last night. Thanks for all the laughs and entertainment over the years, I will be watching these vods for the rest of my life when I want to feel young again.

I watch GSL for maru but pretty on par for tastosis as well. Long time coming for this g5 and I’m glad he finally got it. I’m sure they will do something for artosis in the background but was hoping they like caked him or something haha. Hopefully it won’t be the last we see of him on gsl in one form or another. It's crazy to think that this show has been one of the most stable things in my life over this last decade+. I remember 17-18 not being able to afford GOM TV so I'd just watch whatever clips I could. Then as soon as Afreeca took over I have watched since. Gotta say it's more bitter than sweet that it's coming to an end now. I always thought it would be Blizzard that'd pull the plug before these guys would stop. But there's no blaming Dan for doing what he needs to that's best for his family. Maybe if they do an online set up they could still fly him out for finals! Although that's highly unlikely and just wishful thinking. GG!
