First letter is engine placement: Front, Mid or Rear. Second one is drivetrain layout: Front wheel drive or Rear wheel drive. So you get FF (front engine FWD), FR (front engine RWD), MR (Midship rwd), RR (rear engine RWD)

Zenki Ev S15 are drift kings, not track kings. Tell me why s2k's are still wildly used all over the world for circuit competitions. Pulsar was a cool, that's it. It never got the recognition the s2k has.

See, its hard if your looking "selectively". :D Ex honda owner here speaking. Lived in Japan for 3 years, and I can say its one of their favorite all around performer. Nissan is actually the most popular brand in terms of performance cars there TBH. The S chasis has been one of the most versatile JDM sportscar out there. Besides drifting trophies, it has SEVERAL GT300 Championships under its belt. Oh and currently an S15 holds the fastest lap around Tsukuba, it erased the record done by HKS CT230R Evo. Yes, it can very much play with 4wd beasts out there. That same S15 actually has just been resetting its own record! No car can come close as we speak. Its even FASTER than an official JGTC car which has its own record there before, the ARTA NSX driven by no other than K. Tsuchiya! Don't get me wrong S2k is a nice car, but it hasn't proven much up to now. The Teg has better motorsport resume, even a eco box civic! Sooo you tell me, what have the s2k done recently in motorsports??

Zenki Ev I doubt the whole county of Japan would worry about this matter bro, lol. I wasn't trying to take away anything from the S models, in fact the last gen Silvia is one of the sexiest cars there has ever been IMO and like you said, more practical as it performs almost in any circuit... time attack/touge/drift/ etc. Also I can't legitimate discuss this since you've actually lived in Japan. However, in events that I have followed or attended in California, you can't miss an s2k, they are always there making top competition, the latest event I've followed and attended.... www.superstreetonline.com/event-coverage/motorsports/1411-2014-super-lap-battle-x-global-time-attack-results-and-gallery/ you'll see there s2k in the top spots and maybe it's because S chassis are not as abundant as s2k's (I'm not sure of the production numbers of each).

+Rasyid ronin They had a peaky engine with a 6800rpm VVL crossover and a non close ratio gearbox. The suspension was also very soft and lacked a rear swaybar, tyres were mediocre too. The version 2 was much faster.
