你错了。 中国人对美的定义，在这几十年疯狂的西方宣传、尤其是好莱坞和公知们的鼓吹之下，已经完全改变了。 四五十年前或者更早，会觉得外国人更帅或更漂亮的人很少。

@@bobliu3399 也不能这么说。 几十年前中国太封闭，古代中国看待洋人的确是丑陋感受，因为那时候西方也不发达先进，外貌和营养摄入有关系；中国汉民族自古都是欣赏明眸皓齿皮肤好的人，白种人皮肤并不汉民族认为的白，这个女孩子皮肤比较丰润不是白种人的pale。 中国人过去几十年自卑是因为经济落后社会财富太少了，汉民族年轻一代身高重回到亚洲第一在世界上也算高的，是因为经济发展吃的好了，人展开了，自然看着舒服。 他媳妇绝不是什么旷世美人，但绝对是个看着很舒服的漂亮女性，但是太壮了，没办法，西欧和美国白人女性身体骨架大的不少。

Thanks for sharing your stories, guys! I got pulled over the first day driving in the US FOR THE SAME REASON. The police officer followed me ... I don't know... maybe half a mile, and I didn't realize that was for me until the siren started to sound. I pulled over and you know, a pretty standard type of conversation with the officer, then I learned that the rental car that I was driving has an expired tag. I handed over him all the documents and waited for roughly 20 minutes in my car. Then, he brought stuff back to me and let me leave. The funny thing was that I asked the officer to teach me how to check the expiration date of the tag. He was kind and patient enough to show me where that little sticker is. I was SUPER mad at the rental car company and I called them with a bad tone - not very nice but understandable. They apologized and offered me a voucher for the exact amount that I spent on that car. Lucky I was that I didn't get a ticket or needed to appear at the courthouse. However, I got another speeding ticket last year... It's another long and interesting story. I think it's fun to listen to those stories that foreigners experience in a different country. Why don't you guys grab a few people who had the same experience on a zoom call and make a video about it? I think it would be fun to watch. Thanks, Jay and Ari, you guys are super sweet! When my (caucasian) wife and I started dating, she suggested we try a vegetarian restaurant that had just opened. I told her that in Chinese culture, it was bad luck not to have meat with every meal. She was like "really? uh ok". That worked for about a week.

This video reminds me of the first time going to court. I felt so nervous and can not help thinking about wt will happen if I said guilty? Like this word is really strong in Chinese. Then the judge literally asked me the same question, guilty or not guilty. At that very moment, for some freaking reason, the only line I know in Hamlet appeared in my mind and I said "that is a question" immediately. I can still remember the look of that guy after 3 years.
