And when LeeTeuk lost his family, they were all there for him. I really love the bond between these guys. I love them all to bits and I know they will never know me personally but I know they know people like me exist and I know they know we love them and that's all that matters to us E.L.F's.

I also lost my parent too, except it was my mom. She was someone I really looked up to and I think that if she'd been with me as a teenager, we would have also been friends like Donghae and his dad. It felt weird watching this personal moment on camera though tbh. It to me is a private thing & is why I usually don't try to search clips of members or any celebrity really attending a family funeral or crying their eyes out recapping a sad story. It just seems so personal and somewhat an intrusion, even though as a fan I would never take such a thing lightly (even if I wasn't a fan as well). In the end, I just want to say I'm sorry you had to lose your dad so suddenly Donghae. Hang on to those memories of happiness always and know that your dad is always with you. Marina schmitt It's definitely tough, but you learn to get through it and keep them in your heart 😊 and yeah, I don't think it was necessary for them to film him at his dad's grave stone, that's something he should be able to do in private, but unwanted publicity comes with being famous so 😕 I guess it can't be helped.

I'm not much of a crier when it comes to watching videos or films but when I watched this video of Donghae I couldn't help it. I immediately remembered my mum who passed away two years ago when I was 16. Whenever I remember her, I cry because I only hold very few memories of her & that I won't be able to share many things with her like graduating, getting married, having children, etc. I also still have her phone number on my cellphone & sometimes dial it hoping to her her voice once more.

I cried so much, because I know how it feels. I've lost my dad 6 years ago, like Donghae. And it still hurts so much. I also have my dad's number on my phone and I know how it hurts when your other friends call their fathers... But I can't. I am soo jealous of them and it hurts so fucking much. Sadly this is one thing Donghae and I have in common.Although its not my dad but my Grandpa who raised me he passed on when I was in the 1st gr. He would always say "You're going to be someone great someday whether it may be you become famous, or not I know you'll be a very talented, kind-hearted young lady" Its been 9 years since then and today I know how to play 6 instruments but sadly he's not here to see. This is so heartbreaking. My dad's father passed away when he was 17 and at the time my dad way studying in England. He was sent away when he was 14 so he barely spent time with him. While my mom's mother passed way when I was 2 and my mom was 26. I think about it and more than the pain of never having met my grandparents, whom I've heard wonders of, it pains me that my parents had suffered so much because of their loss. I can't imagine never again being able to talk to my parents :(
