I like the design, regardless of other opinions. They remind me somewhat of these hovers/helis that the Combine use in Half Life. Very nice, quite sleeky.

I think with your pac drone, a gunship setup may be the most preferable.

Question; why not also make some real support drones with the capability to repair other structures and distract the enemy? Basically to annoy the enemy while attacking the defensive structures? I'm not a player, so my knowledge is limited, but it seems like a good idea, no?

This is a very solid idea! Unfortunately FtD does not allow for the targeting or automatic movement towards allied forces. It is possible to use the breadboard, a programmable block, to steer units toward their respective flagship. Then again, there is a LUA-block which might be able to accomplish what you suggested.

Hab ich mir shon gedacht. Leider kann man das nicht mit den Kontrollinputs der Ki verbinden.
