@@syirahazok but as a diehard FT ISLAND fan, I have to say, Mujin’s version actually somehow made the song better. It’s the only one I acknowledge as having taken the OG and actually ADDING to it instead of just remaking it. I don’t know how to explain it, but Honggi’s I Hope version is always lit as usual, but Mujin’s version somehow managed to keep that while adding more heartbreak and sorrow. So I actually felt ok and accepted that being stolen because Mujin’s version did something to my heart, unlike the other people who tried to steal Honggi’s songs so far.

The duet just lacked a lot of power and dynamic. I feel like they would've had to rearrange the song a lot more if they wanted to beat the raw power of the original. Hwanhee's style is probably a bit too similar as well in the duet, which made the difference even more clear once Hong Gi sang his version. The duet also didn't blend great, wasn't bad, but wasn't exceptional either. I think that if a group like Urban Zakapa did a cover of the song then things could've been very scary. Their voices together create this really crazy powerful combination which could rival the power of Hong Gi. Not sure what kind of style they could do it in, but they could probably figure something out. Regardless, they all did a good job, I really enjoyed their performances.
