I love anime much more than american movies. They taught me sooooooo much about the important things in life and about the things we should cherish and fight for as well as the little things we overlook. Thank you so much anime and thank you so much j-pop for not being brash but beautiful and pleasant instead. I just seriously dont get why these so called 'cool' people hate about it. They say we are weird for liking j-pop and anime. Soooo, I guess this automatically makes them saints for liking songs that promote violence, drugs, drinking, swearing etc.

Having grown past my anime worship years, I can look back at my time objectively and say some stuff about anime. Anime is just like western TV and cartoons - there's the good and the bad. Most western shows are decent, you get a number which are just utter shite, and a few gems like Breaking Bad, GOT, Westworld (obviously more but those are the ones I know about). The same goes for anime. You get your repetitive high school animes, animes which are just harem(?) or with one guy, 5 girls or 1 girl, 5 guys which are obviously just appealing to teenager fantasies, and then you get the decent animes (I don't want to name any names but the ones that seem to be going on for years and have hundreds of episodes. Sure, they were good at the beginning but at this point it's getting repetitive, a lot of story is just filler, but when you're inside, you can't see these issues). Then you also get gems like in my opinion, Code Geass for its story and execution. There was very little horny teenager appeasement, sure some of the girls had big boobs and stuff, and Lelouch did have a few potential love interests, but it didn't feel fake. The story was good enough to be its own non-anime show, and I would argue Breaking Bad draws some parralels with the theme of the main character being good, but secretly bad, and their best friend is actually their worst enemy but they don't realise it fully. I would also say that anime like Naruto and Dragonball would fall into this category since they were kind of the first of their kind, despite the fact I think(?) Naruto has gone on for ages now and is likely very repetitive. So yeah, also, I used to have the same attitude about western music but everything popular on the radio tends to be crap. Just look outside what the radio and top 40 is playing and try to find something you like. If you want suggestions, I found out I quite liked panic at the disco which does have a lot of songs themed around 'love' but most songs ARE themed around love, but some songs aren't themed around love and are still good.

I jus wish the majprity of society would jus tap into the greateness in singing about the joys of life. The incredible, undescribables, in order to bring out a better genoration, man. Its so true... All i hear on thevradio is money money money, fuck him, fuck her, bitches, hoes, and i jus dont understand. How can singing about temporary lusts and desires be better than singing about true joy and happiness. The feeling i get when i hear these japanese songs.. The things they sing about jus reach to ur heart... They grasp u so strongly sometimes that u jus wanna cry lol cry in joy.. Tears of hearing words and lyrics that jus completely reflect ur own feelings and struggles... Japamese teach u so much... Teavh u joy, friendship, teach u about faith and fighting for who aand wat u love most.... Come ooon americans :/

waouh. i can only love more and more supercell, here Nagi 'played' so well each of the roles, especially when she pronounced the words of the people around the guy& the words of the girl at 1:42 i felt like i could hear them really, her voice makes the story come alive, and the instrumental makes the heart thump thump at the same time as the story goes on its beautiful :) im ashamed i only know now that supercell made theses new songs

@byakuyabou Ah, first one was my mistake, thanks for pointing it out. Second one was intentional; I realize the kanji read "youshi" but if you listen to the song it was pronounced "mitekure;" similarly, towards the end of the song "kishi" (騎士) is read as "naito" (knight). I decided to go with the readings as pronounced rather than as written; it's meant to be a karaoke after all.

@Sipphe A sample mp3 (full song) was released a while ago; there was a link on ryo's blog. It probably had a few radio plays as well. Someone on Nico either used the sample mp3 or a radio rip, combined with the promo art and short flash video for the song from the official site, and made this video, which I added the translation to.

this song inspired a book i'm writing! summary: she's being torn apart and the person she loves won't move a finger. "pathetic" he says each time he see's her, each time her heart cracks a more but instead of crying she smiles "i know" she responds. on the sidelines clueless of what to do he stands there. as an unoticed tear slides down her cheek she says "someday you could be my hero, but not in this universe." that smile sickens him. her days are counted and she smiles. "maybe." he says smilin
