(ENG) Nissan Note Tekna 1.5 dCi - Test Drive and Review

Nissan Note 2014 is not much different from the original Note despite the "anticipate the unexpected" slogan. At least in the base Visia spec. In Acenta you can order a package of technologies called the Safety Shield. In the Tekna spec Safety shield comes standard.

Having just purchased a 1.5DCI Nissan Note Black Edition. I disagree with you that the Engine is noisy. It is no more noisy than the Petrol 1.2 Dig S version which I have previously owned and a much better more responsive not to mention more frugal engine for this great and versatile car second only in it's class to the Honda Jazz. I can only assume that the Vehicle you were testing has been completely Thrashed by previous reviewers or not serviced properly.

Informative review, but the 1.2 petrol version is a lot less harsh than the diesel you tested, and better in town.

Hi Mark, have you ever driven a Ferrari? engine makes lots of noise ... based on your reviews it should be the worst car in the market! why don't you focus on the main features of the car!?

Funny you should ask, because I have indeed driven a Ferrari (ENG) Ferrari California T - First Test Drive and Review Engine noise in a sports car is part of the experience. Engine noise in a city car is part of the annoyance ;) I did show the main features of this car, which include a sensible boot, spacious interior and Safety Shield technology. But the car is not without its faults, which is my duty as a reviewer to point out as well.
