ENG PC How to clone a profile in ATS

Cloning a profile in ATS, or ETS2, for that matter, is easy. This lets you create additional profiles for Mod Testing, Maps, TruckersMP, or whatever reason you want another profile. No sense in starting from scratch! This keeps all your settings, and discoveries, and all your controls as well.
What you will need:
SII-Decrypter download.

Notes: This only works if your profiles are on your hard drive. Not saved in Steam Cloud. Uncheck the Use Steam Cloud, box before attempting this. Your profiles are in your Documents folder in American Truck Simulator folder, under profiles.
Step 1. Be sure to be able to identify the profile you want to clone. (If you have more than one)
Step 2, Right click the folder, and select Copy. Now you have 2 folders both with same name, and new one has - Copy appended. Enter the folder with the word Copy.
Step 3. Edit the profile.sii file by dropping it onto the SII_DECRYPT.EXE. I copy this file into each of my profiles. Now open the profile.sii file with a text editor like Notepad ++ or Windows Notepad. Go to the bottom and find the value: profile_name:. Edit this name to whatever you would like. NO SPACES!
Copy the text of the new name. (Highlight the text, and hit CTRL-C)
Step 4. Paste the text you just copied to your clipboard into the text box of the Online Text to Hex Converter. The Hex value will be in the bottom box. Highlight that text and Copy it. (CTRL-C)
Step 5. Now rename the cloned profile folder using the hex code you just copied. Presto! Now go test it in the game. If you don't see the new profile name, make sure you don't have special characters or spaces in the name.
