I'm little late, but I hope I can contribute to this discussion too. Taikibansei (大器晩成) is an expression (yoji jukugo...almost like a proverb or saying) and means that young people that with talents need more time on practice to get better. The definition of this jukugo is "本当の大人物は、若いころは目立たず、徐々に実力を養っていって後に大成するということ" (the real great man don't stand out in young age and slowly grows your ability. after that gets into completion). That's why the sakura's sensei told her that it wouldn't be better to debut before graduate on college, because she was so talented that her sensei thought that would be better to her improve and turn into one of the greatest seiyuus. Imo: thank God that she didn't listened her sensei LOL
