Sensei your beginners videos are invaluable. It's easily the highest quality learning material you can find for free on KZbin. It's so rare for masters such as yourself to offer their techniques so freely, thank you so much for sharing. And big thanks to whoever translates these videos for us English speakers.
The gradient colours give this mountain landscape transparency and lightness and expresses softness and poetry. A rewarding demonstration and an impressive technique. Thank you Mr Shibasaki🎶🎆🏆♥️♥️🎁👩🎨
Mr. Shibasaki - how ever-so grateful I am to have found your watercolor videos! I just listened to the one from several years ago asking if you/we were conveying feelings along with the art lessons. The one-word answer is YES! From the first video I watched, your kindness and empathy came thru loud and clear. You are truly conveying and sharing art and sentiments with the world. Thank you. I too am a 70-something watercolor artist. But my path to watercolor came via Covid. At 70, I was abruptly forced into retirement due to social-distancing, etc. During my working days, I did not have time to explore all the internet had to offer. Mostly it was an email vehicle for me. Then I found KZbin, and a heretofore unknown passion for watercolor emerged. One of the first videos of yours that I watched was the 3 Elements of Watercolor - and after showing and describing the 3 elements, you put them together in a mountain landscape. I was fascinated at how clearly you presented the lesson. You are a master, and I thank you for what you have added, and continue to add, to my watercolor adventure. Very sincerely, Bethany from Minnesota, U. S. A.
I bought my first watercolour set today and this is my first video on KZbin. Thank you Shibasaki you made me feel like I’m in the right place and I’m excited to paint. I appreciate you telling me what not to do as well as the correct way to perform each technique. Thank you for making beginners videos, to me you made that mountain appear from nowhere when you layered the shadows✌️

I may or may not be planning how to do my chores faster than usual so I can break out the Paints. Also, Shibasaki-sensei, I wanted to let you know that I painted two landscapes last week using techniques I learned from your videos, and my mom framed them both because she likes them so much. I am so glad I've started applying your lessons, and I'm crawling out of a truly awful mental slump because of your kindness and eagerness. Thank you, sir!

@@lazyartist5592 My mom's approach to parenting was "do the exact opposite" of her mom, which meant supporting me and my sister when we made art. My dad didn't give a shit about us except that we had bad grades. So really it was more 50/50 for me. I'm sorry your parents aren't supportive of your art, that sounds awful.

Nice pic Thanks for sharing.God will always Bless you.
Since I was a little girl, I wanted to paint. Finally, at almost 60 I have the chance to follow my dream. Thank you for your patient instruction. I am learning!
Que sencillez explicando, todo un arte, sabiduria y una sonrisa tierna y amable que dicen todo, frente al ruido de palabras que sobran y tecnicas que agobian. Muy agradecida por mostrar su arte🙏
This video is so helpful! I appreciate how you show the techniques in isolation first so we can understand them, but you also let us see how you naturally mix all three techniques while working. It really makes the lesson useful and approachable to a complete beginner while also showing us how versatile they can be once you master them. Thank you!!!!
