柴崎 先生 こんにちわ. I am from Oregon in the city of Portland. I am new to your channel. I’m here to learn better skills with watercolor. It’s an honor to see you work and hear your teaching. My father, who is deceased, was an artist and teacher who studied art at the University of Washington in Seattle. I gleaned what I could from him since I was a child and was fortunate to inherit his art supplies when he passed away. I have used mostly oils in my painting so I am a beginner with water color painting. My father was mostly interested in sculpture and wood carving not so much painting. He was influenced by a Japanese art professor at the University of Washington, named George Tsutakawa who was a beloved painter and sculptor in the Pacific Northwest. I noted you recently were in hospital due to illness. 💐 I hope you are feeling better.

I love that you tell us a little about the animals so cool for adults and children so we can be appreciative of the birds and animals and their habitat.

I love the moody atmosphere and the colors reflected up upon the gull. Thank you so much - I look forward to seeing more bird paintings!
The atmosphere is so strong in this painting, Mr. Shibaski. You paint it in such an economy of brushstrokes, too. Your videos always inspire me and make me happy. I always wave back to you at the end, too.

Gorgeous, the combination of cool and warm colors, and those soft airy textures are very relaxing. It's like sitting on the port after it rains. Gulls are one of my favorite birds, can't wait to paint or draw one myself, thank you Shibasaki San❤😁!

Thank you once again, Mr. Shabisaki, for a lovely little painting! I marvel how you can splash your brush in seemingly random strokes across the paper, and then watch as you transform them into a painting that shows you don’t just look at the world, but that you SEE it in all its glory! 🙏🏼

Dear Professor Shibasaki, what a beautiful theme you teach us today, the seagull is a maritime bird par excellence and you teach us to do it in a simple way through the communion of a circle and an oval! very educational and fun ... the misty lighthouse and the rest of the elements that make up the scene add richness and romanticism... with just a few touches you give enhancement to the textures such as the feathers of the seagull and the roughness of the pillar and the solidity of the beautiful lighthouse ... this picture is a beautiful illustration worthy of a beautiful illustrated book !! Thank you very much Dear Professor Shibasaki for enlightening our creativity and our hearts ♡ !! :-)

First time i watched a video from you. As usual in watercolor at the beginning it does not look like much but after it's finished it has a real WOW effect! It's also very pleasant to listen to you while you go on with the painting. I am always afraid to start with the pencil sketch, because after you got over the pencil with watercolor, you can't erase it anymore. Seeing how you do it gave me confident in 'ah, come on, just do it, it will work out eventually' :D I love how rich on texture your painting is.
