I kept replaying the scene around 17:40 it's just so heartmelting seeing xiaoju and shiyi hugging. Tbh, in this very episode it was made evident how worried and caring xia xiaoju became towards shiyi and we've seen in previous episodes too how caring shiyi is towards xiaoju despite how they bicker cutely most of the time. I think xiaoju character development is starting, she might not notice it yet because she is still hang up on cheng lang and it's really not easy to get over someone you've truly like so, therefore, the portion of her heart which longs for cheng lang is still overshadowing the portion for shiyi. I'm pretty sure in future episodes that overshadowing portion will slowly and gradually disappear once she starts seeing shiyi.

Yes, that's pretty much the story as per the trailer... The strength of this drama lies in the details and sweet relationship between Datu and Xiaoju. Their characters are written really well. You will get a much better understanding of the character development if you watch all the episodes together. I am planning a whole rerun once it finishes airing. Anyway, I rewatch the previous episodes while waiting for the new ones (which takes forever 😭) I am literally addicted to this drama 😍😍💜

Shiyi having blood phobia is an interesting detail for his character. He has to conquer it because he wants to be a doctor. I like these moments between Shiyi and Xiao Ju. It's not forced to be romantic but genuine that will develop them to slowly fall in love. Hmmm I suspect sooner that Jun will love his band and maybe the girl in the band more than Tao.
