If you enjoyed this art as much as I did, like and subscribe to the *original creators* for their hard work! As you can tell from the video, my translating skills aren't that much better either. My Chinese is real rusty, but hopefully it wasn’t too unbearable for you guys. Now for the actual notes: -The first copy of the subtitles I created wasn’t loading correctly, so I had cut down much of the fonts and coloring (goodbye 5+ hrs of work :’((( ). -Shortened a lot of the dialogue to the best of my ability while (hopefully) not affecting the translation quality too much. However, if it is still too fast, or the abbreviations are too excessive, please be welcomed to post your opinions in the comments! (Just remember to be kind to each other tho) *0:07 -according to a definition online, the term “type 0” is used to refer to as a “passive partner, typically used in gay dating”. Edit: 1 and 0 is also stands for top and bottom in bl/yoai. (credit goes for the correction!) *0:22 -Sorry…idk what he meant by “sisters” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ *0:32 -”I think I-” Interpret this however you would like… "Gege”(哥哥) means “older brother”, but it can also be used as a term of endearment for a male that one is infatuated with. (dunno if my translation is completely accurate tho) *0:37 -“世风日下” is a saying that directly translate to “the world is under the sun” or “the world is going down”, and it is usually used to describe something deteriorating. However, I thought that “society is devolving!” might be better. *0:57 -"色图" can also mean “er*tic” or “s*xy” images. (btw, that's no glitch at 0:59! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) *1:15-1:19 -Asaki was saying, “What I said was that/ I like/ watching beauties.” But I felt it was too messy already, so I just left it out. On the other hand, Aza was saying that “Asaki can’t hide it (clam up) anymore”, but yet again, my stoopid butt thought it was a good idea to put (what I thought) was the English equivalent; tiniest of regrets here. *1:29 -In short “ikemen” sorta means “hot guy” or “good-looking man”. *1:53 - “wasai” is an exclamation slang, that’s perhaps most closely equivalent to “whoa” or “wow” in English. *2:21 -”urursai” means noisy/annoying in Japanese. The direct translation to what Aza is saying is “Aren’t you annoying!”. In comparison, the former just makes more sense in this context. Again, I’ll reiterate: *I DO NOT OWN THIS* I only added the English subtitles. 0:22 the *sister* is used by type0 gays and grls to call each other to show their close friendships cuz lots of type0 gays behave like stereotyped girls behavior such as makeup stuff etc. Hence, some people just insult them as *women* which is also misogyny. But now this word no longer has the stigmatized connotation and lgbtq supporters and feminists use this word to call each other to show their positive attitudes.
