Is there any way to know the expected ball size by Capillary?
@semicontalk32237 ай бұрын
Sorry for late reply, I didn't get notification from my KZbin Studio for your question. Yes, there is a way to calculate estimated bonded ball size by capillary. A general rule is that the bonded ball diameter should be about 80% to 90% of the Capillary Outer Tip Diameter. So if you use capillary with 50um Capillary Outer Tip Diameter, estimated bonded ball size will be 42.5um by using 85% of Capillary Outer Tip Diameter. But it is a general rule and you may can use simulation to calculate more precise bonded ball size. Estimated bonded ball size = 0.85(Average of 80% to 90%) x 50um(Capillary Outer Tip Diameter) = 42.5um. Please also check how to select capillary dimension for your reference. www.inseto.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Bond_Capillary_Tool_Product-Selection-Guide.pdf

I am looking for some advice on how to push the wire through the capillary tube once the become disconnected. Anyone have any tips?

Long ago I saw operator used tweezer to pick wire from wire spool and push manually.
