I love Republican era dramas. It's the time of my grandmother. Fantastic details. The cars and houses. Timmy Xu an amazing actor not to be missed. When they danced as a child I was reminded of Fred Astair and Ginger Rogers. ✌❤

I binged 12 episodes already. It’s so good! There some long drawn out scene when they look at each other but holy cow if this wasn’t such a captivating show. I’m excited to see where this goes. JingTian is so pretty and the chemistry between Timmy and her work very well. Overall, I’m happy!

Jing Tian just aced these Republican Era tv series! I wouldn't mind if they have her worked on a 3rd project in this time setting, maybe one that focus on dance competing because that dance scene was perfect! And she gets paired with handsome actors. It was Zhang Bin Bin and now Xu Wei Zhou.

Conjecture: When FL was eating with the Rong, the way she shared glances with ML when she denied knowing him makes it seems like she was trying to get closer to him via sharing a secret with him. The fact that she lied to Mrs. Rong seems to be her messaging to ML that she was on his side? Course it isn't genuine since she's actually a spy. The dancing scene makes me wanna learn ballroom dancing.
