I personally think he _used to_ have an ideal type image back then, but not anymore. 100% agree. I think he cares a lot more about personality and character now than he does about the superficial external looks. That just comes with age and he's now more mature and can tell that lots of things are important and ideal types don't really matter when you meet the right person anyway because often they're not your exact ideal type but they're still the right person for you

Personally, as an older person myself, I had an ideal type, then a person who didn't match any of what I thought was 'ideal' came around and I married him. People who have an un-flinching standard are going to be disappointed. No one is perfect and tastes change. I think it would be interesting to arrange these in chronological order to see how his answers changed over time. Either way I think that he's really a person who doesn't just judge others based off their looks. He's even said that about himself, that he wants others to judge him by his talents and not think that he's "just a pretty face." We've all seen how blatantly honest he is in interviews and he doesn't seem like the superficial type at all. He'll be straightforward about how he feels about people. (Haha this reminds me of Taehyung's vibe check.) When celebrities get asked these "ideal type" questions, I may be wrong but I think the interviewers are referring specifically to physical traits, so they have no choice but to answer in that way. (Personally I don't like this focus on physical appearance, but the celebrities themselves have to answer something and we can't blame them for thinking some people are more attractive than others; that's just natural and they're just being honest. But at the same time it can lead to lower self-confidence in people who don't meet that ideal.) But anyway we can also see that Yibo doesn't seem to care about a lot of the physical stuff or can go either way. Like a lot of people are saying in the comments, I feel like he has tendencies to think certain people are attractive, but when it comes down to actually finding a romantic partner, he'll look more at the person's personality and what kind of feeling he gets from them, etc. That's just my guess and interpretation but at the end of the day it's his choice and even if he remains single that's fine too. 💚 ~:~

I am thankful that there were opportunities to ask Yibo these questions at a time in his early 20s. His answers were very typical of someone his age then. So when they both meet he looks like to have a little crush on her (by the way he look ZLY in every BTS legend of fei) . Even maybe just like a sibling since ZLY was married back then. But ZLY could be a "type" he was imagine about. So when he meet his type in real life, he treat her very well with respect. No hate please. I'm just saying what I'm thinking. Thanks

@@iudyulia hmm i see. i never watched legend of fei, so i wouldn't know about the bts clips. i did watch the ddu episode where she was a guest and she partnered up with yibo for the food segment. i didn't notice any look he gave her that may have signified he had a crush on her, BUT i did notice zly looking at him a certain way. let's also remember both are actors, so i will take everything with a grain of salt and that's just my two cents

Anyway that's only for a drama, and I just share my opinion with you based on what I've seen. In real life we never know what would happen, but just to respect their privacy.
