How do you say it will survive 25 years? Was it made 26 years ago? Or was it Stress Tested to simulate life cycle over a long time? While Stress Testing is ok with structural properties, would it be correct with the lifetime of microorganisms? Just as in septic tank, are there 3 or more serial channels for a continuous fermentation? What is the status of the micro-organisms when strong toilet cleaners are pushed into the bio-digester? I wish you success with the bio-digester. Was this used in Indian Railways bio-toilets to replace the old system of dumping the faeces on to the track? A septic tank has anaerobic digestion followed by fermentation. IR Bio-toilets too are anaerobic and are "no better than septic tanks" an IIT Madras study says. Is your bio-digester an aerobic process with no fermentation? Then you can help Indian Railways. Kitchen waste digesters look for a continuous process better than the Bokasi batch process. Kindly investigate whether a smaller 20 litre continuous bio-digester can be made for kitchen waste.
