I'm so tired of American shows which are so often coarse, crude and just plain raunchy. They just don't compare with romances like this. The story line, the tender gentleness of the love, the beauty of the costumes, and the sets all are better than the US programs. The boy meets girl, they have a drink, and then get it on like rabid rabbits seems to be how the main plot goes in American TV dramas. And the old saying of "Language that would make a sailor blush" also holds true.

I have cried and laughed during this journey but Dong Hua's reaction upon finding he has a son is priceless. I'm replaying that part and laughing with tears in my eyes. I love happy ending. I hope when someone likes this comment l will be reminded of this episode and smile. The whole cast did very well on their parts. I'm also happy that the Demon lord Yan and his love Jeng are together. We want season 2 for this.

I think Fengju and her children (will there be two foxes?) will be very busy... because there are no foxes to replace the other childless fox kings. Good to know I’m not the only one watching this drama over and over again. It’s my 3rd time seeing the 56 episodes and still gets affected by it. Great acting and beautiful casts, i love the theme song, the background music and musical scoring. It stayed in my mind the whole time and find myself humming the song every now and then. Dilraba and Vengo Gao have become my favorite chinese artists. Wish there’s a sequel for at least half season. I’ll keep dreaming 🥰

My God! What a drama.. what a story.. direction.. acting.. everything is just epic. It was feeling like that I was living in a dream with them while watching this drama. To be honest, i love the Pillow Book more than the Ten Miles due to the main lead. Sorry to said that. Dilraba is my favorite Princess/actress. Vengo is my prince. Both acting skill is fully-fledged. Both done a great job. Emotionally expression is 100% engaged. The difference is, Ten Mile male lead as Prince of Emperor is too weak. A man cannot protect his Lady/Love one and let her suffer so much.. I don't appreciate that point.

I found this show without knowing what it was about. I fell in love with Dong Hua and Feng jiu. So I started back with Ten miles of Peach Blossoms, and the story of Bai Qian and Ye Hua. Then I moved to Eternal Love of Dream. Dong Hua and Feng Jiu are great. Then they had the cutest little guy ever. This is now my favorite show. I want to learn how to speak and understand Mandarin just to know exactly what they are saying. I think some of the deeper meanings of words, especially words of affection, got lost in the English translation.

Ngl sometimes it’s hard to understand even when you speak mandarin fluently. I speak fluent Mandarin and English as my parents immigrated from China with their parents to America but like when the characters in this drama speak ( like ever other historical drama) they use words that are no long used in modern day communication and only are found in poems so typically though I came understand what they are saying exactly some words are kind of off

I loved how the Demon Lord Yan loves Fengjui as a friend. He's thinking about her welfare all the time even if it's between the woman he love and his friend. It's just so unfortunate that he forgot to go tell Fengjiu about DongHua's message and it created a misunderstanding for the couple.

To me Eternal Love of Dream is 56 packages of Love wrapped up with a big bow. I have watched this at least 25 times. I have learned so much about myself, I am so grateful to the whole cast and crew and especially to Gao Wei Guang, whose acting brilliance made DongHua come alive. It is the best costume drama ever. It is a masterpiece of film.

I watched it so many times too and each time I notice something new. Like the tears rolling down his eyes when he’s hugging her tight as she’s dying. Or when he admits that he wants to take her wherever he goes, tying back to the scene where she’s drunk on grape juice and asks him to take her with him to the fight. I love this couple so much! ❤

There is no one can portray Dong Hua (Ice face) beside Vengo Gao. This goes the same for Feng Jui as Reba. Both nailed their characters perfectly and brought their characters to life❤. 好久没追剧了，这部必须要赞。高伟光和热巴已经完全看不到之前偶像剧里的青涩。中文不太好的女儿也小脸挂着眼泪看完了整剧，顺带看了三生三世十里桃花，还现学现卖了不少中文词汇。小孩子的眼里只有纯善。我表示不喜欢姬蘅，也感觉剧情里有给这个演员勉强加戏。她说姬蘅很可怜，最终得到幸福挺好的。如果妈妈不喜欢她，说明她演得挺好。

This drama was probably one of my favorites in a long time! While I love "Eternal Love", I have to say in this universe I really enjoy this one a bit more. There was a bit more sweet than bitter and I just LOVE Dong Hua and Fengjiu as characters. They really compliment each other but the Emperor Lord was such an enjoyable character the whole time. This was a great story. Would love to see more!

panamakira Can we take a moment to appreciate that everyone is hanging around Bihai Changling haahaaaa. Like this was once hallowed ground, Dong hua birth place, no one was allowed to go there without his permission I doubt before Feng went anyone had even seen it. Dong hua was a loner it was his beloved wife wish that they build a home, invite friends and family, and make the place lively. Look at that he made all her dreams come true, even Yan spends more time at Bihai changling than with the demons, how sweet of yang to openly admit he missed everyone he really is a pure soul we all need a friend like him. Awwww Qingti is becoming like Dong hua, he is mentoring him, I have a feeling qingti would become like a foster son after all he is dong hua successor. Dong hua didn’t just gain a wife and son, he gained a life a home, before he had advisors and comrades, now he has friends, his life once that was filled with silence and boredom, now will be filled with laughter and happiness, and let’s not forget children. Ohhhh my tears someone said Dong hua born out of rock came from nothing and no one, in the end he earns it all with his devotion to duty, sacrifice of his happiness, blood shed in battle, pain at watching death too close take others but not him, he kept on living in the end he is rewarded. Life lesson if you want something you have to earn it nothing comes easy.

I feel like it deserves the "3 lives, 3 worlds" label a bit better than TMOPB, because you have Fengjiu & Donghua's celestial selves, the shadow selves, and mortal realm selves in which they experience and fight for love. In TMOPB, Baiqian really has 2 lives (Baiqian and Susu) and Yehua, while having 3 (golden lotus, celestial, and mortal). I don't think Siyin really counts as another life, and during the time when Yehua is a mortal, there really isn't that much connection between the 2 characters. A lot less clean, in my opinion.

I just finished watching Eternal Love Dream for a second time, my emotions were the same as the first time I watched, roller coaster of emotions, excitement, laughter, anger and sadness, my tears wouldn’t stop during the last two episodes, my family laughted at me and questioned how can a drama like that cause so much tears, all I send was “watch it and you’ll see”, thank all the actors and people that was responsible for making this story feel real, I never felt like that before after watching a love story, it really clings to you, to my little fox and my emperor lord, you guys are beautiful actors, of course so is the third prince, I hope a third Eternal Love is in progress, from Si Yin, Ye Hua to little fox and emperor lord, I love you guys🌹❤️❤️🌹

Their strategy in this episode seems that they wanted to hold the audience captive, unsure if either FJ or DH died, until the last minute or so. I even knew the ending and was getting anxious that they kept mentioning FJ being hurt but alive, and not mentioning DH at all.

原著中是白淺、 夜華和墨淵趕來破了星光結界，戲裡改了，初時看了不習慣，但後来細想一下，覺得改得挺好。第一，白淺=楊冪/夜華= 趙又廷的形象深入民心；珠玉在前，既然請不到二人（楊冪已客串了一下下），與其找別的演員代替，那就徹底地讓這兩個角色活在台詞中，讓觀眾們留下一些想像空間。 第二，總是說帝君和鳳九天命註定無緣，不過二人的血合起来竟然有此等威力，不就是他們其實姻緣早定嗎？只是這份「緣」是有條件的；鳳九早期的痴心一片，後期帝君的用心守護，他赴死前的剖心為戒，鳳九決心生死相隨。 難怪有人說，夜華和白淺雖然也波折重重，但二人有緣有份，穩穩妥妥，跑也跑不掉。反觀帝君夫婦，最後相守的好結果真是靠夫妻倆共同努力拚命掙来的。

At the end, he is one of the cutest kids I've seen in a very long time. I love how he says yes like an adult by saying "en" and how he lowers his dad's arm to see his mom. Sorry to hear they cut his scenes at the end because I would have loved to seen more of this sweetheart.
