Hoshino Ai's VA, Takahashi Rie, helps introduce the anime adaptation of Oshi No Ko!
The original manga is written and drawn by Akasaka Aka, but he decided to focus more on story writing rather than drawing. As of now, Akasaka-sensei is writing the story and Yokoyari Mengo is drawing the art.
Other works by Akasaka-sensei include "Kaguya-sama Love Is War" and "Ib -instant bullet-"
Other works by Yokoyari-sensei include "Scum's Wish" and being the artist for "You Are the Queen for Indecent Me"

The fact that she was a fan already before being casted explains a lot why her performance was so touching,it was personal,she also loved Ai already so she put all of her soul into giving life to her character.

The story is pretty gripping for this anime. It is a reverse isekai about fantasy characters with powers living life in a real world society. The story occassionally has some ecchi moments, and very funny villains that are usually played for laughs. The series eventually develops into a wholesome slice of life which was also great. The art is pretty stellar. I enjoyed the character designs and battles a lot. Even backgrounds often have decent detail put into them. The characters are my favorite part of the manga. It is what puts it as my favorite isekai story. All the mcs have their own goals in life, and their interactions with others are all very entertaining to watch. Rather than being only basic tropes they all have character flaws which makes them believable. I enjoyed this series a ton! It is one of my favorites due to the great cast. If you are looking for the best isekai series I would recommend this to you. If you are looking for a fun slice of life or comedy this is a classic.

Also since Ai wont have that long of a screen time, the studio wont be paying for her cost that much. Man, oshi no ko really change my view on entertainment industry lol.

Just one detail, by sensei she was refering to Yokoyari Mengo, the author of Kuzu no Honkai for example, she actually draws Oshi no Ko. Akasaka Aka only does writing. If anything, it was Mengo who inspired Akasaka with her one shot to make this series (search 'Kawaii' story in Isshou Sukitte Yutta jan anthology). Also, her adana (nickname) is not Riri but Rieri.
