FX's interrogation scene was incredible, he's unnerving and brutal, i like his touch of callousness and ruthlessness mixed in with a deep compassion for human lives. Complex. I know he's gonna have a complex relationship with several female characters including one we haven't seen yet I hope he's loyal and true to Wan'er and doesn't fall for them. Ambiguous perhaps...but not loveline. Tbh i feel for Zhu Ge and old man Yan 😂 after all, they're just doing their job and one's son is exiled because of Fan Xian

So, her father, brother and mother don't want her to get married to Fan Xian because they all support the crown prince. However, the emperor want them both the get married .. I don't think that the treasury is the reason why he want her to be married to him, that's way too obvious. The emperor and Xian's father are both hiding something. And the fact that Xian's father had access to the red knights and can talk with the emperor and be honest to him with almost not fear while everyone else even the princes can't do that is indeed something to be looked at! There is definitely something else going on and it's related to the assassination of Xian's mother for sure !

Wang kinda reminded me of Usopp from One Piece. In Usopp case, he thinks he isn't brave. The plot thickens. The brother of ML's love interest supports the Crown Prince. Crown Prince being controlled by his "Aunt" aka his lover (my guts telling me she is otherwise why would Crown Prince paint a woman without showing her face) who turns out to be the adoptive mother of Li Wan'er. I think the real spy is her Mom (she's also an adoptive sister of the King). I don't want to read so many comments as there might be more spoilers. I could be right, I could be wrong. But this is difinitely getting more and more intriguing! The real question is why Li Wan'ers mom wanted to kill Fan Xian so bad? Is there any bad blood between her and Fan Xian's mother before she got murdered? Was she behind her killing too?

The plot is getting thicker and intense. Fan Xian just surprised whenever there is actually “friends in high places” that do care for him BUT THERE IS ALWAYS A CATCH-A PERSON LIKE Ling Gong who wants to kill him with foul intentions that would clearly benefit him in the long run by being a lap dog of the idiot, jealous Crown Prince. Power and Greed goes very well with his cunning personality. Hopefully his love for ❤Wan’er will not be in vain.
