💬Plot summary:
Fan Xian grew up in a small town by the sea with his grandmother, following a sudden visit of a poison master, his peaceful life quickly morph into one filled with danger and hardship. Fan xian has to live on there's too many loose ends that need to be addressed ie his position as head of the overwatch council and treasurey. His marriage arrangement to Waner also Mr robot Wu has yet to appear again, why did he enter master Ku's waterfall.? the box or trunk FX inherited from his mother. Also those protecting him are too high up ie CCP his stepfather Fan and his master Fie still not clear regarding him...

Well.. it was not just a flesh wound...it was a penetrated abdominal wound injury, which could cause internal bleeding. We just hope that the production team (aka director, script writer and original novel writer) save him by giving an on screen savior on time. We need Fan Xian to continue Joy of Life story though. But if he reincarnated...the sense would be differrent and not unique anymore. Hopefully they gave him an on time savior....

It'll be a while before anything dethrones Nirvana in Fire. It's perfection, with a life, power and mystery all its own. But there are some good dramas too: Love and Redemption Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms For light-hearted fun and amazing chemistry, General's Lady. I know it's sacrilege but I just haven't been able to get into The Untamed. It's not managed to do anything for me. Joy of Life is just fabulous!

It's very obvious that this is all a ploy planned by their side. The things Fan Xian stated about the 2 hostages may be true but he would never take a risk of Tang's son which is why this all an act right for the right moment when Yan Bingyu stabs him. "A life for a life" he said, which still gives a 1% chance of the Second Prince to decide to kill him and that's a chance Fan Xian would never take. Thanks again for the subs!

I've just finished binge-re-watching Joy of Life. I absolutely loved it the first time, loved it 1000x more this 2nd time. Everything is perfect, the casting, the acting, the script, the cinematography, the directing... One of the best of the best. Waiting for a second season has been/is torture. Although, thanks to the heavens, there's Sword Snow Stride now to watch while we wait. Best Christmas present ever.

I think this is the best ending coz we all know fan xian wont die... But his enemies will let their guard down... His come back will be more epic like this than if he went along with the journey..... A brilliant series, superb acting but what an ending - the shock blew me away. There seemed so much more a series 2 could have produced especially with the unanswered questions left in the open. I'll miss the emperor what a superb actor.

Thank you subbers for all the wonderful efforts you put into this drama so we English speakers can understand better because you subbed it better. This cdrama though fused in the modern and ancient times proved that it’s also effective and entertaining. This is a drama that you won’t jump to the end because you got bored on its first few episodes. You want to pursue each characters even though how short or long are their parts were. The camera shots and cinematography were very good in highlighting each scenes. The twists also did made us all shocked and wondered especially how the season 2 would start again to establish Fan Xian being alive and how all the characters are going to evolve again. Oh, I am sooooooo excited, please haste for Season 2!!!!

And, like many others, they made Shen seem human, not the monster that he was at the beginning. The way they can make us feel sympathy for villains, whom you hated to the core in the beginning, is amazing writing and directing. I just finished this episode and I cannot wait for season 2. Since I’m watching this late, June 2022, I binged several episodes a day. Now, I have to wait for season 2. Hopefully, it will air in the next year. 🤞🏼 Great drama! 🔥💕

I enjoyed re-watching the whole episodes again , glad I did cause I've forgotten so many scenes and it refreshed my mind. Now I can re-watched S2 again and while I wait for S3 to be aired. Zhang Rouyon is surely a good actor! I wish he would collaborate/team up with Zhao Liying, it would be good collaboration in my opinion, they are both good in playing their roles!
