What can we say, people have different tastes and opinions. I have only seen 3 finished dramas of hers so far,this one being the forth . I first saw her in the story of yanxi palace,loved her, royal feast,loved her,even if it didn't impress me,I watched it for her and Xu Kai and The double,loved her. I'm enjoying this one so far.

Love the editing of the first episode, and that they went straight into the story, no hanging around. Very promising start. Hope the rest of the drama will be like this. Pros: The acting was excellent, the chemistry between the actors was great, the OST was memorable, the costume, hair, and makeup department did a fantastic job, and the fighting scenes were phenomenal. Con: The writers made a few missteps after the second plot twist. However, overall, the series was enjoyable as it provided a brief exploration of the concept of "fairer is better." A concept that most people watching c drama seem to miss as they always asking, "why is their makeup so white?" I was particularly satisfied with the pacing of the episodes toward the ending, as they did not feel rushed, and the last episode concluded the series in a satisfying manner, much like a well-read book.
