This is hands down the best tutorial on German short rows I’ve ever seen. I just couldn’t get it before, but it all clicked just now. How to do them, what they do, what that looks like, etc. All because you just sat down and did them in an actual project not some tiny useless swatch. 60키로 다 되어가는 만삭 임신부에요! 다른 실로 햇는데, 다행이도 게이지가 동일해서 그대로 코 잡고 그대로 늘려가며 원작대로 완성햇는데 타이트한거 없고 너무 벙벙하지도 않고 딱 적당한 핏으로 완성 됐어요! 출산 후에도 전혀 오버스럽지 않을 것 같아요. 넘 예쁜 디자인 무료로 공유해주셔서 고맙습니다❤

Yup, I agree. Great video and watching the whole project like that, is really the best way to teach people. I have learned more in watching this video then I have in six months of trying to figure out patterns.! Yes you need circular needles for waist or knit in flat with single pointed needle and sew front and back pieces later!

i completed this vest a while ago and while it came out perfect (the intructions were amazing and i followed with no problem!) the size is way too big 😆 im xs-s and, though i didn't realize it because im very new to knitting, the vest turned out at about a size large... how many stitches should i cast on to make it smaller? im thinking on starting around 35 and see how it goes, but im still confused over gauges and stuff. i'd appreciate if someone could help!

저도 똑 같이 55코 잡고 똑같이 떴는데요. 왼쪽. 오른쪽 어깨까지 다 떴어요. 그런데 양쪽 어깨 사이 뒷 neck 부분이 생각보다 좁은데 16cm 작겠죠, 20대 딸이고 44 사이즈 입긴 합니다만.ㅜㅜ

Hello! Thanks for the great tutorial! I have a couple of questions: 1. How long should the needles be? I have 24in/60cm US 8 and US 10. 2. When you are casting on (3:12) how much yarn do you pull off?

1. Needle : You can use 24” needle but it may uncomfortable when the back and front pieces are joined. There will be many stitches for body on your needle. 2. You need approx. 50” tail of yarn when you cast on at beginning.
