Of all the historic Chinese dramas I have watched, this one comes in my favourite list after the untamed and who rules the world I feel the values of a king a good person are embedded in these I'd like to congratulate the makers for such a good work What I liked most was the show not being a typical love story of the leads together in the end Yaa some questions remain unanswered, I think it is practical life and better to leave it at that, not making a typical story out of it by S2 Thank you makers BTW I personally liked Xiang Lui most 😅

And now to the review: I give it, 5 Stars ✨ Everyone played their part very well done. The girl playing the main character did an amazing job!🫶 In both roles. Both man and a princess. I've watched many of her ft shows. But, I think this is one, if not her best character yet. The director did an amazing job choosing the right person to play "Xiao Liu". From her facial expressions, to her emotions. I think it says a lot about how much she loves her job as an actress. An amazing storyline. Only amazing actresses can portray it well so that us audience, enjoys it. I don't care how long season 2 airs. As long as it comes out nicely. I am willing to wait: I hope the storyline gets deeper when it comes to the cold blooded 9 heads demon. I hope love reaches his heart!

😢😢😢😢 this is the most disappointing dram I've ever watched. Every romantic relationships were ruined by ambitions and greed. I can't believe grandma died with out ever noticing that the girls never loved her grandson and even let him be a father of a child of his brother. Why was Jing so much of a coward yet he sounded strong when he had woken up. The demon cared more about benefits and never let off a deal. I can't believe this drama. Looking at now I get where it'll end. Besides Xian becoming a king finally, every thing does seem like it's going to go well.

Let me put it this way; Jing with XY make me feel like i would have felt if Yendan ended up with Yumo in Immortal samsara which is not against it because he was a nice guy but not for it either cause Yendan belonged to YY and he was hers! So, XY not ending up with XL will make me feel like I would have felt if Yendan didn’t end up with YY. Sad for both of them. XY and XL are soulmates! They belong together it's undeniable! But then again I guess that's why the story is unfolding this way the show is LOST YOU FOREVER destiny doesn't allow the soulmates to be together.
