So when he got married he thought "She" will all be home bec he had a profession to support their home as what he has been doing all the while with his mom. Waiting for her to come home to him when he was a child(it was also the reason while he is indifferent towards his father). The Female lead does not share the same background as he is that's why she never understand and left. She is sheltered and loved all her life til the day she went and out of her marriage ,there is support through and through.. So somewhat try to relate when you watch😊

Some may view his behaviour as being assertive but one must bear in mind that when they first meet be immediately visited her home , then the next morning offered her a ride to work , picked her up and visited her work on numerous occasions, also stayed the night for no good reason. She had not encouraged him and when they were out to eat he also told her what she should and shouldn't eat or do. Also the character personally has ' victim ' written all over it. She is much too much naive .

He should leave her and let her go to the show off Lawyer whom she doesn't love. She doesn't deserve a good man like Dr. Ning.

Am I the only who kinda annoyed with the fl. I get it the ml is so cold asf and doesn't show he loves her which makes their break up mostly his fault. But the fl kept on entertaining the lawyer when she doesn't even like him at all. Although she told him she don't have any interest in him but some of her actions may make the lawyer think other wise. Plus she knows the ml personality he is trying though at bare minimium but she should just tell him his problem so they can sort things out. Six years ago they divorce not because they do not like each other but both of them have certain expectation in their marriage that didn't come out as what they expected. The fl wanted the ml to show her flattering and sweetness love because that what she thinks is marriage all about while the ml thinks marriage is about companionship and security that he is not alone. Both of them do not tell each other their expectations at the end both of them is going to be too suffocated with each other.

Exactly. She is such a flirt. She knows the ML is jealous of him yet she’s deliberately entertaining the lawyer and indirectly encouraging him to pursue her. Not to mention it’s supposed to be a team building for the medical team yet she is spending her time with the lawyer. Even when the ML reminded her that outsiders are not allowed inside their office, FL lead ignores this and doesn’t respect the rule nor the ML as a senior and as a colleague. I really don’t like this attitude of the FL lead. I don’t find it cute but instead annoying and disrespectful.
