Recently I watched few Movies/ Dramas in the genre of 'Crime Thriller,'Romance'etc. They were all set against the life of the elite in the urban setting.'Women of Nimas' was something totally different. It portrays the simple,hard life of the people living in interior villages. Though their life is devoid of of modern comforts an innocent joy and love permeates in their life and relationships. The grandma riding the horse cart is striking. Thank you for uploading this movie.

The vastness of Inner Mongolia is such a wonderful backdrop to films. This is a wonderful film, the cast and production were really good. Well done all.

I am jealous of this old lady. I have not had a birthday with my two children in 35 years, even when I was still living near to them before I left Hawaii for California in 1995. This drama presents an aspect of China's vast countryside of which most Westerners are not aware. Good show and a good mother. I am happy that I could spend at least the half decade with my aged mother in her early 90s.

Liquor makes the time in steppes pass easier. No radio, tv or computers although with the windmills making electricity, the Government should provide the local residents some electrical power. I get along at 82 years of age on fresh fruit juice and water, and 30 minutes per day of indoor cycling.
