The goodbye scene between Maiming and Zhaoyan made me cry, especiallythe part when he doesn't tell her that he doesn't have a next life. This is The End for him. He really didn’t do all this for him, he did it for her. He wanted her to survive and not die young because of the curse. He actually didn't have a problem with fox demon, because he knew Xian Qing will take good care of her 😭😭.
