I thought he was crazy in the beginning but finally came to understand him and things were explained better about who he was over the 200 yrs. he kept reincarnating as the twin to guard etc.. trapped endlessly just to be a life source for others he didn't even know. It wasn't fair and he truly loved zhaoyan and wanted to set them both free from the burden imposed on them. Broke my heart that he didn't even get the max of three days to be free. All those people hating them but none would have been willing to replace them to be slaves to others. He sacrificed way more than enough of his lives to provide others with good lives. I always thought he was beautiful in appearance but had a dark heart yet I understand the darkness after all his suffering. He was a great actor.

The bond between Qi and Jinzhao is very different than the bond between her and Luohuan. Jinzhao was her bosom friend/confidant and suffered all things together as an equal when they first awoke in the village. He protected and provided for her no matter what hardship he endured and she was aware of it. With Luohuan he was her master/teacher etc.. above her but always seeming to care/provide for her. She would of course love her master/teacher but not as deeply as she loved the one she knew who suffered with and for her. She was never aware of Luohuan suffering for his love of her. He was also such a little boy when she came to them and he loved her immensely but almost as a pet in the beginning so how could it be as intense as the bonding of the fully grown (albeit young) Jinzhao. The love I have had for my pets was like the love I have for my children. She came to respond to the romantic love Jinzhao developed for her which was natural and understandable due to their total dependence on each other for everything being more equally bonded. I feel so sad for Luohuan but the plot to groom her for use to deal with her mother later on was wrong to begin with. She said it right that she was used as a future weapon rather than just being loved for herself with no other gain. Luohuan knew it was unfair but he was loyal (up to a point) to his family and elder. He just couldn't bear for her to be harmed and/or suffer. They both love her and want to protect her but seems Jinzhao would more likely be her soulmate. I just wonder how this will end. The title of episode 28 says the mystery of Jinzhao will be revealed but so far I am still completely confused as to how he looks just like Luohuan except for the scar and how he came to be at all.
