This Jingxuan guy is literally so selfish and hateful!! I had respect for him the first few episodes, but it just keeps getting worse. He literally intentionally ruined her reputation knowing what the consequences are. Not only did he made her suffer by forcefully removing her clothes, holding her back not to go (which would have made this situation nonexistent if she'd just worn her clothes at that moment and left without him) and threatening her with his life. He then tops it all off by carrying her back knowing fully well what that will cause for her and that she will carry the blunt of that. His stupid 'love' is so selfish. This kind of stuff can literally make her be unable to marry anyone else except him. He is the one who promised to marry Suying when the emperor made a deal with him. He is not a man of honor since clearly, he can't hold up his end of the deal. And he takes advantage of Suying's labor - making her care for his mother and keep her company- knowing fully well he's not going to marry her. Even before Meili comes, she's been doing it, and he clearly doesn't mind it before then knowing that he not rejecting her very earlier on consolidates her position as his future wife. She invested so much time, energy and efforts into him, yet he never respects her efforts ( I know she's scheming now but I genuinely don't blame her, she has given too much to just back off now), nor does he respect the girl he claims to love since he clearly gives her no face and doesn't mind hurting her reputation (which is basically her life at risk in this kind of era) for his 'love'. I really hope that he doesn't end up with Meili.
