Both Noire and You wake up early to do some exercise training and you both spend the day together in this visualized Drama CD from Megadimension Neptunia VII, in the Hyperdimension Neptunia series. Hopefully I will have "Spend a Day with Vert out by July 27th. The day before Megadimension Neptunia VII come out on nintendo switch (^_^). So there's suppose to be two different Noires, so they say... There's Noire from the hyperdimension thy we got to know from the mainline games, then there's Noire from Game Market (think that's right way of calling it) from her spinoff game Hyperdevotion Noire Goddess Black Heart. They act completely different, with the Noire from the hyperdimension being quite lonely and at first friendless. The noire from Hyperdevotion has many many friends and is very much outgoing, she even thinks out loud how nice it would be to be in a idol band with her generals being her backups. I kinda wish Black Heart could have had more time in the drama cds. "I want to touch Noire all over" is one of the only times that she transforms into her HDD form.

TL;DR: Noire is perfect and Hyperdevotion is the peak of her characterization. The differences between the Hyperdimension and the Hyperdevotion versions of Noire are more about being jaded and how they deal with the hardships of being a goddess while wanting to have friends and their own pursuit of love. Hyperdimension doesn't think that her wishes (An ordinary life, friends, voice acting, etc) are possible for her position as a CPU, she most probably believes that because at her age (Which expands many generations) she still hasn't been able of getting a single friend without endangering her work schedule which she needs for her country to remain stable. This is what leads to her being more closed and less outgoing, she is constantly trying to act in a professional manner, believing she can't get friends anyway, so her idea of a perfect goddess takes even greater priority. Hyperdevotion's Noire is not as different as you may think, she is also lonely at the start of the game for starters. Although clips without context may make it seem as if she had friends in her Generals, the game makes it a big point how literally none of her Generals trusted her, even less take her as a friend! The start of the game is focused on Noire having to show her true intentions to the Generals because her cold treatment and utilitarian use of them (Something way more prominent in her first appearances where she discarded her followers, and even singular friend in the OG HDN for the PS3, for the sake of her goals. She was way more complex up until Hyperdevotion where her character peaked) made the generals believe they were merely seen as pawns. In a way their suspicions weren't that off, Noire in Hyperdevotion is so unfamiliar with the concept of friends and comrades she is quite cruel to about every friend (Or better said, every person and animal she ever finds herself interacting with) she has, sometimes downright abusive. This is, funnily enough, her being socially awkward to the extreme. Their struggle as a character is the same, and it is pretty clear that Hyperdevotion's Noire would end up being just as closed off and seeking an escape instead of bettering her situation. The Hyperdimension's Noire is more mature, kind, and considerate. But all of the improvements that the Hyperdimension Noire got with age came at a cost, which is why she is way less outgoing and is seen having way less confidence in both herself and others. The Noire in Hyperdevotion is one young enough she hasn't lost hope. And young enough she is also quite inconsiderate and ignorant of how people behave and what your emotions mean. This is why her game makes her deal with many problems to advance her character, being way closer to the original Neptunia and mk2 as games with a character driven narrative about becoming a better person and fixing your own flaws. As examples of what I mean with her development we see the first chapters of the story are set like this: Noire is weakened and meets the Secretary who lends emotional support and will become Noire's main emotional pillar and anchor to her self-esteem. She has to fight the CPUs to see who will lead the charge, she wins because of the Shares the Secretary gave her while the rest were unconnected to the Share Crystal, validating her love and desire to protect over merely winning. Then she needs to deal with Resta, Lid, and Lee-Fi. This chapter pits her against her own generals who had rebelled against her due to holding no trust in her, she beats them all and it is shown that at first they merely join her because she's stronger, and it is only after Resta organizes one last fight to see how Noire truly feels that they truly join her. The decision of a fight is quite telling of how Resta was the closest to Noire, as she was shown quite enthusiastic in fighting quite a lot, you just see how Noire acts serious before every battle but during it she's laughing in joy. It is about showing her true intentions with them aren't merely extending her joy in those fights. We then need to find Estelle and Ein Al, who show a bit of time when everyone warms up and we have a full chapter of Noire acting like a stable person, which at this point in the franchise was a completely new thing as in the original she was never stable for longer than a scene and in Victory she was quite... Victory induced mad. This moment of normalcy is going to be used as a contrast to when the Generals depict how working under Noire was hellish before, something which follows from Kei speaking as if she was more polite than Noire in Mk2 (Even though Kei is aware she is a major ass with everyone) and the aforementioned utilitarianism regarding her friends and allies in the Original Hyperdimension Neptunia. The next chapter is focused on Blanc, her Generals, and Ai Masujima from Leanbox. This chapter shows that Noire may be socially unwise, but she still controls enough knowledge to have predicted the mind control plot. We also get many scenes of her casual cruelty once we recruit the characters, along with a scene at the start of the chapter where she brags about commiting war crimes against Lowee. Talk about tone deaf. Then we get the Planeptune chapter where we see her deal with betrayal and her own emotional insecurities. While the Secretary acts as her main pillar of support, when some of the Generals she had already "befriended" turn against her after she is left an emotional wreck because Neptune went away without notifying her first, she needs to confront her own lack of control over her emotions. The chapter doesn't quite well, along with showing that Noire learns to trust her friends now, something which comes up later on when the next chapter she trusts her Secretary to help in saving the Visual Novel General whose name I always forget. Anyway I went offtopic.

Rewatching and I'm thinking on making this Scenario Canon for my OC and Noire's relationship in my Fanfiction series, cause it fits so well with how they'd act with each other. In fact, my OC only got good at Cleaning and Cooking thanks to her. The way I wrote their relationship in my Fanfiction is one of Respect and trust, with a bit of Romantic growth later on

​@@shelbybayer200Different versions of Noire exist in the games, most of them interested in getting a loved one and doing absolutely nothing about it because they have work to do (Similar reasons to why she doesn't go searching for friends). That said, only one of her depictions shows romantic interest towards Neptune and vice versa. Most of them either have no one in mind (Like the Hyperdimension and Superdimension versions, along with Action Unleashed, Megatagmension and others), or some other named romantic interest (Ganache in the original, Plutia in all Ultradimension versions, the Secretary in Hyperdevotion, and her Manager in Producing Perfection). Ironically enough, Neptune is responsible for her romantic interest leaving or ignoring her in every case I remember, aside from the Secretary where she explicitly ships them as the other goddesses do in that game (Unlike the Generals who don't want to get involved with Noire's love life).

That's not it She just got cocky and thought she'd try to make it hard for the listener . She's not bad at running she's just a bit to Prideful and won't let anyone even if she likes them win . I personally find it fun to have a girl like Noire who tries to hard If you payed attention, she goes running EVERYDAY Implying she only had this problem cause the listener was with her this time

I feel like this needs to be said to all you Noire supporters out there. What exactly do you see in her that makes you love her so much? I get that she's an attractive and intelligent lady with a really good work ethic, but she has more personality flaws than a worn down chicken coop. She constantly berates people who aren't on her same playing field, she lashes out at any negative criticism of her work (not as badly as Blanc but you get my point), she alienates her own sister, she only wants to work with others if it means she'll get top billing. I could go on and on. It's like Neptune said, she needs an attitude check. She works too much and thanks to that she has no clear view of what it's like in the outside world. She closes herself off from people who she doesn't know (not as bad as Blanc but you get my point) all because she fears it'll get in the way of her overactive work ethic. She really needs to learn that it's OK to take routine breaks from work in order to indulge herself from time to time. Sure she can't be as lazy as Vert is but she can at least she learn to be a little bit more like Neptune who when she's not working focuses on her hobbies like video gaming despite hating her responsibilities as a CPU she needs to do her work because if she doesn't do them people could get seriously hurt from monster attacks and her whole nation's infrastructure will fall apart. Noire's only game was Hyperdevotion and that game didn't do as well as other spinoff games in the franchise and the mainline games. In all honesty she needs a MAJOR character reboot.

All the neps have major flaws that only got worse until VII. The narrative doesn't exactly help them either, and Compile Heart doesn't seem to want to develop them much further than they already have. I still love them though, some of my favorite all time characters.
