I don't know what space I was inhabiting when this drama first aired. but boy I am making up for lost time by marathon binging. I am SO into it that I find myself shouting at the screen: sometimes advice, sometimes cursing the evil doers. I loved the cast, all of them, even the bad ones. The acting is not over the top. I even enjoyed the snippety sales clerk who really unbent with the advent of the gold card. The writing overcomes the banal, yet it is not dull in anyway. I am going to share the news with all my students (and I am 77 and retired for many years). I think this show is a sleeper.
