Sad but I got to take Tai Chi from a great Tai Chi Grandmaster because he left China for fear for his life! That was in the early 1980s when I took classes with him. I can tell you at times it seemed like he had some magical powers. This is why I love this drama having had some great Chinese masters for teachers.

CCP have done some inhumane things to sure but one thing I notice while traveling around for two years was things are not as clear cut as western media reported it. Right in the middle of Beijing there Christian church and Muslim gathering. I think China allows her people to believe in what they want just not spreading their believes. Westerners trend to believe in right or wrong, but easterners tend to believe that the true is somewhere in the middle. And I believe that why we are accused of being indifference or don’t care about this or that.

yes it puzzles me very much. Also I didn't know Xu Feng Nian's female servants could kick ass so well maybe just as good or better than the Lady in White. I'd have to search the videos to find her name. I wish there was like a glossary of the characters with a picture, their name, and who they are in the story. That would help to follow it better. Sometimes I rewatch an episode just to be clear on who someone is Also a list of the swords and cities would help too. Some of the names seems similar so for a westerner like me it's tricky to keep track. haha!

@ 25:10 the actor who plays Xiao looks off center, then winks, then catching himself he blinks his eyes pretending he didn't wink at someone off camera. The actor standing besides him with the blue robe sees the interaction and he then glances at Xiao actor. Then they look at each other slightly pretending nothing happened. Opps! LOL I don't think that was suppose to happen. But they left in for people to catch the slight blooper as the short scene at that camera angle was done great in one take when he then turns and leans of the concrete thing, as the actor starts pretending his back aches again.

However, it seems that loyalists to Beiliang are all over, they do their jobs on pretense, and in the end, they all want to go back to Beiliang and continue to serve the Xus during this hard won peace. All those who are in power in the capital, the prime minister, including the emperor, fear Xu Xiao. Xu Xiao is in control of 3 provinces and 350,000 strong cavaliers.
