The first time I watched that clip where Yibo recognized Han Ge, I teared up. How precious is the bond they’ve developed, Yibo practically reached adulthood during his DDU journey. Han Ge may not like anyone equating themselves as Yibo’s parent out of respect for Yibo’s biological ones however it’s undeniable he’s been a father figure to Yibo. I like to think of DDU as Yibo’s version of Happy Camp, his happiness is 💯 guaranteed in every episode he appears. His infectious and gremlin laughs (many times just doubling over whenever that happens!), endless smiles, on-screen enjoyment of food, opportunity to learn more about different walks of life, they “make up” (for lack of a better description) for his “forced journey into early adulthood” when he was away from his home country at such a young age. May there be many more years of DDU happiness for Yibo💚💚.

I adore their relationship. Han ge isn't just a gege and dad but also protector and advisor to Yibee. That episode of their reunion post the pandemic isolation, I rewatched a few times. Han Ge just grunted and Yibee knew. Too precious! Han ge was also one of the very few Yibee invited to the sdc3 finale. He's also the one always making sure the kid eats on set when they're filming. I hope they stay together and are this happy for many more years to come! 💚

Omggg I love this FMV :))) Honestly I am soooo thankful for the ddu brothers, they treat yibo really well, and won't treat him differently bc of his fame or bc he speaks less and hence take the chance to steal the spotlight from him, or use his name to get the attention of others. They each have their own talents and roles in the show (Yibo is dance and talent role, DZW is singing/music and comedic role, WH is taking care of the whole stage, major MC role, QF is "being bullied" comedic role :) I heard that ttxs officially announced they are looking for newbies to replace Yibo/add to the ddu brothers team, I was soooo furious but I can't do anything about it. I reallllyy don't want the team to change, the 4 people team now is literally PERFECT, nothing wrong w it, the audience also majority find it perfect & don't want it to change, the people have talent and little bad news/reputation, so I don't see any reason for the need to change the people. Is there something wrong w the head of ttxs team? I love ttxs team and how they take care of Yibo but please don't change them or add people!!!!! esp younger ppl... I do keep that clip with the Great Recognition :) as my go-to for spirits-lifting because it's incredibly moving in its intense sincerity and absolute kindness. The looks, the contact, the artlessness of touching during the hug and hands-holding-and-petting, that mix of shy awkwardness and happiness on Wang Yibo's part... The scene is full of sweet familial tenderness. I am aware it *could* have been staged, but I honestly don't think so: It seems much more believable that the very concept was to record Wang Yibo's *genuine* reaction. (And he delivered, indeed. :) They both did.) And in all the other episodes you have included this mutual affection, care and connection between Wang Han and Wang Yibo is palpable and truly nice to watch. So the final scene is quite well rooted. :)

Him recognizing Han Ge from his cough reminds me of a story: One in 4th Grade my mom came to get me from class. I heard her cough from inside the classroom, so I told my teacher my mom was there to get me and when we looked out in the hallway she was there with a lady from the front office looking for my class.

I just want to say that wang han hand on Yibo leg is not harassment. He does it to Feng Ge too. My grandma also do it. Some “old” people do it to the one they are very close to. For some it is encouragement for some it is closeness when there are a lot of foreign people around. Also when he sits on a high chair (bar chair) he do it to for balances. That’s why I don’t understand why some people are against it. Who knows maybe already accepted Yibo as his godson in secret (secret because Yibo won’t accept people giving him chances because of strong background)
