I think this series shows the real reality of internship, students wanting to choose the right path (career), love in work. It's very realistic. I don't see any fiction here. I love that. The series show the complications to find what you want to do in future, the difficulties to reach your goals, to find love in work place and solidified it to be a endgame, it show the complications between the relationship (for example tae and bahmee relationship).

Yes, they put everything in its place- be it reality, comedy, romance! I loved the direction and cinematography. The actors did justice to their roles. Usually this is not what i feel for most of the gmmtv productions. For the internship part i dunno if that's what happens at film production companies in Thailand but it did throw some light on the hardships of interns. a 10/10 for me!

For example, I am always in my first and only relationship. My man and me know each other in college days and being together till today we go in 7 years in relationship. We aren't together every time. He travels and me too. We have been separated over two years but we're here always together. We are a long lasting couple. If you're heart is not strong I am afraid you don't get the reality of long distance relationship. Long distance relationship don't always finish in break up

SO SAD THAT THE TRAINEE HAS ENDED As someone who's currently going through adulthood crisis, I can relate to almost everything the characters went through, especially the interns. Even I relate to the mentors who are still learning even when they're supposed to be the adults who "understand the world". My heart is swelling with pride seeing each of their growth. I've learned a lot from this series, both as an individual and team I still need more JaneRyan tho, S2 or special episodes pleasee 😭🙏 Anyways, big big appreciation to all the cast and crew. Piploy and Sea's relationship was my favorite part of the show. I like how they portrayed Ba-Mhee and Tae respectively . View, always the badass actress who is single but rocks!!!! I get that, but the purpose of this series to me is totally different. It is a light and funny love story contestualized in the upsetting life of a trainee. If they had more screen time in order for their relationship to grow more explicit, it would've outshined the complications of the life of all of those trainees, which is the real focus of the series. I'm really craving a more profound love story acted by them just as you do, but I really got to appreciate this controversial one ❤.

You know what was NOT rushed? Episode after episode focused on the problems of Ba-Mhee and Tae, who became estranged in one week of plot time, stretched out on screen as long as in an American soap opera, and then broke up in a conversation of less than five minutes in length, and then had to be written back together over several episodes. For one thing, they were nowhere nearly as interesting characters as the other four. They were immature and that was it. Then they weren't so immature, as they realized they actually felt more comfortable with each other than with anyone else. You'll recall that Judy tried to act with Ba-Mhee as Ba-Mhee acted with Tae -- taking over the details of her life. That transformation didn't need all that time to be presented on screen, while Jane's and Ryan's relationship was revealed in telling bits and pieces, actually nicely done, but giving them short shrift while we have to extrapolate from the bits and pieces what they actually mean.

The segment from 1:30 to 1:41 was totally OffGun (I even suspect that Gun was genuinely laughing). Well, at least their final nickname for each other is “Darling.” 💚💚 I'm really sad that *The Trainee* has officially ended. Although for me, the emotional highs and lows in Ep. 12 weren’t very strong, this doesn’t change the fact that it’s a great piece of work. I teared up when Jane was reminiscing his internship days, it reminded me of class of 2024, they are indeed friends for life. I love how the story didn't only focus on the romantic plot line but something educational and valuable too. I love how the mentors weren't just doing their job for the pay, but encouraging and helping the mentees genuinely. I love how the friends stood up for each other, made them laugh and comforted them when one got hurt. I really loved the series so much. It also made it me that it's okay not have a goal so early in life, it's fine to explore our dreams and not to settle down at wherever we are right now. Congratulations to the actors, production crew and other people behind this amazing show for successfully depicting what they wanted to show to the viewers❤

I love OffGun with all my heart, I think they did a PERRRFECT JOB on the acting as always - the other casts are great as well. I love this series, slow burn, funny, touching, and relatable on so many levels. BUT, just honestly tho if you want to make a slowburn romance that has multiple couples please please please make it into longer eps (like We Are The Series at least) so that the ending won't feel RUSHED. I still stan by my first opinion about this series that I enjoy and love watching it and will be rewatching it because of OffGun, but I genuinely hope (from the bottom of my heart) that they will get other series that have excellent screenwritings to do them justice.

A couple of things I disliked about this series was that Ryan and Jane weren’t actually the main couple for multiple eps, Judy was dumped for Tae even though she was a MUCH better option, Ryan and Jane only having like 2-3 on screen kisses, the random 5 year time skip with no contact between Ryan and Jane, the over concentration of their jobs and over explaining what it is that they do, and the fact that the other side characters didn’t really have anything going for them. Overall a 5/10, could’ve been much better

I agree with you on most parts. But i personally think putting those tidbits about their work and terms/desc related to their field of work made this show a little informative and educational. But you're right: they could've not sacrified the screentime of the main couple for the side couple's story and those desc/details abt their work. Could've made eps longer i guess? And for P'Judy's part, I had this feeling after their kiss that even Judy's not a good partner for BaMhee. First, she's TOO emotional and empathetic for her own good. Second, kissing bamhee back SOBER and fulling knowing that she's in a rs. I could almost see judy and bamhee's dynamic not working out for the longer run (Judy being the constant giver and bamhee being the taker and not able to set boundaries and eventually wanting space) With that being said, I don't think Tae and bamhee's rs dynamic was healthy either,, but oh well. Let me not be too nhilistic about human relationships and desires. I liked ur review!

I just wish it didn’t have as much camera time. // also on the bahmee & Tae vs bahmee and Judy situation, you’re definitely right about neither one being good for her. I almost forgot their first kiss Judy was sober while bahmee wasn’t and I remember being uncomfortable when watching so thanks for reminding me😅 Judy was a better option in my opinion only because she was caring and listened to bahmee while ALSO being able to focus on the job. Otherwise Judy seemed too pushy and clingy and only focused on what she wanted to do. I wish they would’ve left bahmee single instead and just focused on Ryan and Jane or maybe even explored the love interests the other interns might’ve been in. Also you review is great too!

And I also have a feeling that Judy was caring and attentive,, but it could've been easier to do all of that because they had to stick together all day (sometimes nights too) as intern and mentor. But Judy seemed like a workholic and if in the potential future we're they'd date, she might not give bahmee the attention and time which she might've been too used to at that point. I love how at the end, they worry about their interns who have talents, but zero confidence, the interns who is scared of their mentor. They were those type of interns in the beginning, and now they are the mentors who wonder what ways can they improve and shape those potentials to the fullest.

The trainee was about Tae and Bah-mee and the others. They got to develop their love story,triangle betrayal ,reconciliation and marriage proposal. The main Couple OffGun was a secondary story,barely and poorly developed story, Even in the part of the ex-stealing Jane`s work.the writer of the story just erased him, jane got blamed for stealing the conpany`s work and dissapear 5 years....the Tae,bah-mee story kept developing. Ryan was only a decorative character.The ending for Jane and Ryan was Baah! Off Gun managers should choose better roles for them. This didn`t show any growth as actors,

I really enjoyed this series.❤ I liked the friendship they had, the company with its great working environment and their supportive mentors, and the personal growth of each trainee and even of Jane. It made me feel like I want to achieve more and grow myself as well. Maybe I try something new in my life to grow my personality and my working skills further too 🥰 Thanks a lot for this amazing series, even tho it's OffGun, it didn't need any BL imo, hence the focus of this series was completely else. I liked it either way. ❤ Loved every actor in this series, everyone did a very great job! Thanks for the hard work!

Lo bien que me sentí mientras veía la serie todos los domingos, al mismo tiempo que hacía mis residencias profesionales en una radio, es inexplicable. Será una experiencia inolvidable porque me sentía identificada totalmente con Ryan, con cada una de las situaciones en las que se encontraba con su mentor. Me duele que acabe pero, la verdad, fue lindo y agradezco que haya sido estrenada en el momento indicado para mí.
