While the cheater calls his girlfriend, the Uncle should call his 'wife'? and tell her to talk to Ourie{?}. I forget names, but the Cheater should not be privey to this 'family' meeting. He's cute, even good looking; and maybe really in love with Ourie, but I feel that he's more interested in the Ou Family Business. There used to be an American cartoon about 'Oil Can Harry'. He was a sleezy villain from the first half of the last century. While Cheater doesn't 'look' like OCH, he gives me that impression. And why am I writing a comment here when I could be watching what happens next? LOL ADDENDUM: My comments are not reflective of the actors. I am talking about the characters. I invest in really enjoying a drama, and the characters become real due to the actors talent and acting ability. I also put my own ideas/perceptions and memories into the characters.

It just seems that Meiya and Li Dong seem to have the healthiest relationships with their parents and are the most stable. Ou Yang's father is a piece of work. His kids don't like him and neither does his wife. He's not a very nice man or good role model. When it comes out he has actual bio kids from his first wife/gf ( no spoiler alerts here) those kids should be lucky he had no hand in raising them. He's discontent with his life but that's his fault. He created this mess and his mistakes are being visited on all his kids. His wife is a lush but at least she loves her kids, but she's really not that nice either. It just goes to show that even people with money can be miserably unhappy and live messed up lives. Sorry to say but Ou Sr. has to go. There's an old saying "the fish rots from the head down". I think once he leaves some order will come back in that family.

These characters were men that they love the FL from beginning to end, never got fooled by other females and would go against anyone, high or low authority for the FL they love. Also, if there’s a misunderstanding or doubt of the FL, they still would stick or have faith in the FL, their love. I love those types of ML more than any other type.

This poor man committed a crime of tax evasion and other things. Ou 'stole' his account books and turned him him. While Ou's hands are probably not all that clean, the poor ex-con should accept that had he been honest, he would not have gone to prison. Logic: If you hadn't left the keys in your car; if you hadn't set your purse in the shopping cart and turned your back, .... I wouldn't hve taken those things.
