Exactly. I completely agree. Meiya doesn't care about money or privilege. Personally if I were Meiya I would have been honest with Li Dong and told him that I needed space from him in America to sort my feelings out. It really pisses me off that she was transferred from 1 guy to another like a puppy and they made plans for her without including her. She needs to make her own decisions and be left the hell alone to reconnect with herself. Pushing Li Dong on her is wrong. I'm a broken record but ship her to France to her friend Ben. He cares just as much but he gave her space and can keep her comfortable to make those decisions. He didn't pressure her and she could work in France. She needs space and time away from that whole mess. Everyone has made decisions on Meiya's behalf and has lied to her. She should be pissed about the level of deceit and betrayal. Main reason: patients whose kidneys fail go on DIALYSIS and can remain on dialysis for years while determining kidney transplant options. 2. Even if you have w family member willing to donate; it takes time to complete the donor work up to ensure they are a good candidate. 3. The donor surgery is a big surgery.

Of course they will end up together. And the writers won’t even bother having him work for her love, won’t make him suffer and atone, because there are barely any more episodes left. I’m sure this will be the typical “don’t worry, the female lead will just forgive the man despite the emotional trauma and pain he CHOSE to inflect upon her”.
