aww thats ruyi! zhou xun did an incredible job on ruyi's royal palace. i just finished watching the series and now im watching behind the scenes clips/interviews. i sometimes forget that the actors and actresses are people who exist today because the series was so well made that it looks like it was filmed during the actual time period lol. watching them behind the scenes in costume on set is so awesome because they're having such a blast. seeing zhou xun here in regular clothes was actually kind of jarring lol. ive only ever seen her in the palace attire. amazing.
