Thank you for this video and the subtiles. I might actually change the pickup covers on mine too, the black really does look a lot better. Shame that Yamaha kept the white/beige ones mostly, even when there had been models with black pick up covers in the past even for 611 models, I just don't remember if it was the 611h or 611v.

4:59 ストラト系列のリアハムはディマジオでいう F-space、ダンカンでいうトレムバッカー シリーズでないと合いません！安く抑えるなら 内寸は削る以外方法がないかもしれませんが、 外寸が一回り小さいESPの金属エスカッション ならピックガードを削らなくても済んだ可能性 があります！(サウンドハウスを見ながら)

You just need to be careful. Thankfully, the areas you need to scrape are covered up by other parts. (The inside of the humbucker ring is hidden by the pickup, and the bottom of the pickguard is hidden by the humbucker ring)

Gibson Les Paul guitar users might have been sad when Bocchi's old guitar died down. But at least it has been used by his dad before until it passed on to her. As a non-guitarist, I'm touched when Bocchi has been taking care of that guitar till it broken down and now that bocchi had found a replacement for bocchi to continue playing her guitar hero skills. Great video btw. Thanks, it's amusing to watch. Stay safe.

It's not a replacement. The Les Paul is still fine, fixing a broken peg is not a big deal, and actually Gibson Les Pauls come with pretty crappy tuners anyway. (While costing a small fortune) But just as the series has shown us, it is always a good idea to have a spare backup with you for a gig, because changing strings takes a moment and can not be done mid song, while switching guitars can be done even mid song. Furthermore the single coil p90 in the neck position comes with a little different sound than the humbucker of the Les Paul and the tremolo system allows for some really cool things that her dads incredible expensive Les Paul can not do. Meanwhile the Yamaha 611v is even reasonable priced. So, just like Ryo and the rest of us, Bocchi is just starting her collection. I really would have hoped for a 612V II to be honest. A well, maybe she gets some Strat later down the road for some serious funk moments. Position 4 on a SSS Strat could give her playing some serious spunk.

@@Traumglanz you are correct about Gibson having bad tuners. Which is why I went with an Epiphone when it came time to choose. The tuners are way more reliable and at a fraction of the cost.

If the Guitar is correctly set, the tuners are fine. I've been playing them live @ Akiba for 20+ years with no problems. Please find a good technician.

I believe Yamaha put out a PAC612VIIFM similar Bocchi’s, but, if Bocchi’s is a 611, this is more accurate, it’s a lot easier to go with the 612, that’s for sure, I may try this instead though, I’ll probably have to bring it into my local guitar shop, as I’m not a professional 😅

i think ill prolly buy this and make it bocchis guitar i dont like it stock, but i do love the pick up configuration and when its modded to look like bocchis i think it not only looks awesome but its also bocchis guitar and that makes it cooler also i think yamaha did sell bocchis guitar for a limited time in japan in 2018, but i dont know that for sure its just something ive heard

611V(赤)ユーザーです♪ 自分は逆にあの白いソープバーP-90に惚れてパシフィカ使いになったまであるのでそこをイジることはまずないですが、今回の後藤仕様カスタムは全体が締まってすごく良いですね⭕ リアのPU外枠をフロントに合わせてソープホワイト化する程度ならやってみてもいいかな？って思いました♪

The transparent black Pacifica 611VFM I ordered back in February finally arrived. The humbucker trim ring that came on the guitar has a 72.5mm wide opening, and all the aftermarket ones I can find are only 70mm. The black pick guard and P90 cover improve the look of the guitar tremendously.

ちなみに、PAC611が使うハムバッカーはseymour duncan社のcustom 5 trembuckerというピックアップです。サイズは普通のハムバッカーとちょっと違います

I love how flexible this is with the humbucker, single-split and p90 pickups, I feel like Yamaha and Ibanez are always doing very flexible guitars and this is great. It's a bummer that Yamaha won't re-release this special version though, they could make a lot of money with Bocchi's fans

While you can still find some 611 VFMX on sale around (that particular guitar was a limited edition run from 2018), it is certainly easier to just mod a standard 611 VFM. The VFMX had an anodized aluminum black pickguard instead of a 3-ply and the black cover P90 but that's about it.
