pouvez-vous imaginer, si Lara commençait à chanter dans un restaurant familial, et que votre mère faisait une cassette de démonstration d'elle chantant une chanson qu'elle a écrite pour elle et la donnait à l'un des directeurs de musique les plus connus au Canada, puis se mariait lui dès qu'elle a eu 18 ans à quel point Laura serait plus loin dans sa carrière comme Céline,,, Lara est absolument incroyable!!❤️

Thank you Gaby, a very interesting video. I love the story with Gabe and the video shoot 3:00. I have to say, i'm glad that her electropop phase is now over and she's back to her roots like on the fantastic 2022 tour. Oh and I love her hairstyle here😊

Even though I don't know French that much yet, I can hear such a huge difference between how she speaks in interviews in Quebec and here. Over there, she's more relaxed, speaks slower, and her accent is different (je pense)!

That interview was in Belgium, her hometown so she’s very relaxed there too. It just feels a tad different because Belgians are Latin so they’re a bit more intense but she’s definitely very comfy here 😊

There was, is and never will be a time I could imagine being without ALL that Lara means to me. Yes, addicted to ALL she brings to my life - and thankful. BUT this similar goes to Gaby for the wonderful spirit and efforts she puts into this kind community. Feel all the respect and love for all what you stand for. What Lara says at 1:54 "Now, the musicality and the way we use our voice is a matter of taste, I believe, and the musician in us takes the decision depending on the era we live in." goes completely against her view on composing music when she was in her twenties. Back than, she said that composing music was a matter of divine inspiration, something eternal that makes us alive, basically related to our soul (kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXuleHZ_bcaGe5Y). I actually prefer the divine, eternal interpretation of composing music, and I have no idea how she could alter her mind so much about composing music couple decades later. Almost as if she had become brainwashed all these years. Also, Lara Fabian used to be a phenomenal composer on her own right: why does she need to hire this Sweedish guy to compose things for her, when what she used to compose was for an entire orchestra, not just a simple electro-pop song with limited instrumentation? When she sings in her new style, I couldn't recognise her voice any more: the way Lara sang these new electro pop songs sounds like anybody could sing it. I really think that changing her style is not only a serious setback from her earlier musical heights, but also an attempt to serve the musically unsophisticated crowd: it is simply a commercial move. So, I think "mommy is tired now" is not just a joke, but it is a sad fact that should raise the question of retirement and devoting herself completely to discovering new talent like she used to be. Yes, she mentions devoting herself more to teaching, but at what price: that she completely sacrifices her unique style while settling for the primitive musical taste of our "modern" era? Even if Lara Fabian would be the product of our "modern" era, I would not understand this sudden shift in style because there are some young artist nowadays who devote their musical identity to embrace forgotten musical styles such as blues, instead of "jumping on the bandwagon" like Lara Fabian does here. Buy doing so, these young artists, even though they are indeed the products of our "modern era", behave like old souls and make an invaluable effort to bring back real music to their prior level of recognition. One such example would be the Icelandic band Kaleo in songs such as Broken Bones (kzbin.info/www/bejne/eYK1qpKvnKl5atE). An old soul would never compromise quality for making a commercial move because she understands that musical taste is not relative, but absolute: it stems from divine, eternal inspiration, rather than from the so called "demands" of unaware crowds whose taste have been moulded by the media directing at them primitive musical styles 24/7.

Je ne pense pas que la question était méchante. Je crois qu’il voulait simplement dire qu’elle chantait plus souvent des notes hautes en puissance et c’est vrai 🙂
