Thanks for sharing this video, That thing looks awesome!.. The first thing that caught my eye was that bumper man. As a guy that has a bad habit of driving straight into a wall it looks like it can really absorb a hard hit…… 👍

Been there too. Specially when practicing with friends and turning away from the car to make a comment... the wall always wins.

Car is looking really good on track, looks planted in the mod class.
@telecomandorcАй бұрын
That is good news.

@ the car broke on the last main it was in(I think d or c main). Got tangled up with another racer battling out for first.

Take note of the proper use of a cooling fan shroud on the motor. Probably increases the cooling effectiveness of the fan alone by 300%
@telecomandorcАй бұрын
I like how it is forward of the motor and the shroud overlaps the top to direct the air over the entire motor.

I used to race TC back in the AE TC3 days. Just started racing again, but TC isn't that popular here now, so I race the AE B7 buggy. I like the look of this new chassis.
@telecomandorcАй бұрын
Those were good days. The TC3 was light and nimble. The battery try is somewhat dated. But for the price, it was a great car.

What I don't like: no ball bearings (or at least blades) at outdrive -> driveshaft 😞
@telecomandorcАй бұрын
Good point. It is a prototype. Maybe they will change it.

Hope they do, I have tc5 all the way to the tc 7.2, was very disappointed when they got out of the tc game
@telecomandorcАй бұрын
Agree. I really do hope it is affordable. Their drift car is about $300. Compared to other drift chassis, it's a good price. I hope they stay close to that price than the $700+ others have.

In the top view you can clearly tell that the front and rear end are not the same at all, and while they may share a few parts and a similar appearance, they're almost completely constructed of different parts. Arms, universals, cups, links, etc. MAYBE the shocks are the same. And the screws. But that's about it.
@telecomandorcАй бұрын
Could. Maybe it is just the appearance.

You can use a ball end Allen driver instead of a L type Allen,
@telecomandorcАй бұрын
You are right. Maybe I will give in someday. I am always worried the ball end will damage the head due to the smaller surface area.

Yokomo haven't used pills for a few years now. Definitely not on the BD11, BD12, or MS1.0

I still question AE's quality control after what happened with the RC10B7 gearbox not aligning properly with the chassis & C&D blocks . AE still hasn't address the problem... Just saying ... please Be aware
