@@sarchana1141this Duke is a bit better than Shaoshang’s dad in LLLG though. I liked Shaoshang’s dad but he was so scared of his wife, who was such a mean mom to Shaoshang. I feel like this Duke would never allow that. I loved the emperor in LLTG as a father to Ling Buyi, but I actually like this Duke even more as a father figure.

The PERSON that needs to be acknowledged more is the EVER COOL 😎 HUMAN -Duke Wei, a parent and a father who fully understand, very accepting, non judgemental, purely thinking about what Yining likes and whom when will love and there is NO WAY that he will be meddling whatever her decision, he will respect. It was so hilarious when Duke Wei asked Yining what she wanted to a future husband😂--she described SHENYUAN WITHOUT HIS FATHER knowledge and someone was eavesdropping right at that moment “the Brother”😂 Oh, what a happy ending for an episode-delightfully entertaining. Yining and Shenyuan -what a glowing, glorious tandem❤❤❤❤❤❤. Thank you.

They weren’t even raised as siblings. She didn’t even remember him since he was separated from the rest of the family. And on top of that she was gone for 10 years. The events of the first 20 episodes were just a couple of months probably. So I don’t really ever got the siblings connection between them, they just supported and protected each other. If he hadn’t helped her is many times I doubted she would even notice him like how she’s not close with any of the other Luo sons.
