I personally prefer The Romance of Tiger and Rose. It's the first ever cdrama I've watched after getting tired of reading chinese transmigration novels, idk if I can watch intense love without comparing. Is intense Love good? Which one would you prefer? I feel like not watching intense love tho cause when I compare his chemistry with Lusi (which is totally a lot) and then on the FL of intense love, I feel like they lack chemistry based on the snippets I've watched.

@ThePirateQueen that's why I'm asking if the intense love is good lmao cause I also just watched snippets of the romance of tiger and rose before deciding on watching the whole thing, cause even in those short clips, they look so cute together and the plot just fit perfectly to my taste which are transmigration and reincarnation novels. Also, it's too hard not to be biased on Lusi cause it's the first cdrama I've watched and her acting is totally on point. She's so fun to watch cause she's funny and cute without even trying and not cringe. I really really really have a good impression of her, I feel like I cannot watch a cdrama if she's not the female lead hayys. I tried watching eternal love, wasn't able to finish it cause although it's my type of story, it's just...idk

Han Shou kissing scenes were sweet and somewhat innocent to me. I guess it fits the romcom drama. However as Dr Zhao, the kissing scenes were at romantic level and they really sold their intense love relationship. Ding Yuxi is such a good actor and so handsome. I didn’t have a celebrity crush until I watch those two dramas. I like the two dramas the best because of less conflicts, sweet and short about 24 episodes. I know it’s drama but I wonder if Chinese men are these romantic as Dr Zhou persona who likes to care and treat well his lady. 😌

...ryan ding may not be as good looking as the other c-male actors out there,i mean he was lanky thin,but then there was something about him that makes you watch him more.Acting wise ,he was a diamond in the rough, and this young man knows his callibre and not afraid to use it---using details , he uses small gestures that adds on some spice and it was effective..for example the eye contact and movement changes everytime accordingly to the facial movements and emotion needed when it comes to line delivery...he could be menacingly dark at the same time jump to love sick puppy...

Exactly! Same as me... Intense Love's story is too boring and predictable, monotone. They tried to make funny scenes, but to me, their jokes weren't funny. It's enough for me to watch once, don't want to repeat it. BUT, The Romance of Tiger and Rose is absolutely funny, very interesting, and the story is bit different than other romantic drama. I watched this drama again and again, always laughed. :) Zhang Lusi is really a talented actor as well, played very well in this drama. Very matched with Ding Yuxi .

I'm watching TROTAR by an accident when I was looking for other Chinese drama. The 1st episode already caught my attention. I can't wait to watch the next episode. I loved the chemistry btwn them.
