They call the dance styles differently than we would in the US. What they called "jazz" we would call "contemporary". "Jazz" here is something different. It's a faster upbeat kind of sassy dance. Jazz is generally the dance style they do in musicals. What they called "Lock" we would call "whacking". Its a dance made by the queer and African American communities. "Lock" is something different for us. It's more of a hip hop style dance.
