It's android so software updates are nearly non existent unless you buy a big flagship my n10 5g just got android 11 and Android 12 is out it's bullshit why didn't they just skip and go to android 12 since they are only doing one update for the budget line

I literally just got this phone today. Got a 2 line deal for 50 bucks on my dads senior plan, phone definitely looks nice, feels solid, is fast, but well see. From the reviews I'm looking at now, yeah prob should have just installed a good camera instead of 3 crappy ones. You cant compare it $1000 phones tho, it's not a fair comparison

@RICHARD ENYAAH idk but the phones battery lasts me all day. I guess it really all depends what you're doing on the phone that might drain your battery. I have a tablet I use for some games and stuff but as for the phone I use facebook, reddit, calls and texts and a couple other things and so far the battery lasts all day. Charges pretty fast too.

They think everyone wants to take panoramic and night vision shots, when they don't. Most people take close up, detailed photos (which requires a macro lens, and only the OnePlus Pro variants have those anymore), or portrait/content creation shots. Which any phone today can do.

Yup, it's not good enough for the European/US market, but in India, where OnePlus is just as big as it is in a lot of Europe country, the much better Nord CE priced similar with the Pixel 4a, and while its camera doesn't compete with the 4a, it's still much more decent and proper camera set up than this, and it also have a better processor, better screen, than the 4a

SD480 is actually better in many ways then 730g including gaming and 5g support. Only thing 730g have going for it is 4k video and that maybe is important for some on phone (but not many).

The only reasons I wanted this phone is 1) I was aware of OnePlus and wanted to own one, 2) I got it mostly as a trade-in for a much more premium phone I already had that was meant to communicate at 4G, but refused to go faster than 3G and 3) I've just been told by AT&T's advanced tech support that AT&T is discontinuing their 4G service right along side their 3G service. I was so mad I gave a phone I just received yesterday, my LG Stylo 5, away to a friend who's going to use it for the same exact purpose that I plan to use my soon to arrive LG Stylo 6: a gaming/Music/Facebook/Facebook Messenger device connected solely on Wi-Fi.

You realize that the benchmarks on this Snapdragon are nearly identical to the Snapdragon 730? Tech reviewers who review $240 phones from a $400 lens, they are awful. Great quality on the video but please at least check basic benchmarks rather than comparing this to phones nearly twice as expensive. Don't just make assumptions on a Snapdragon just because it is a 400 series. Also, in your own review you just explained that the Pixel 4a is over $100 more expensive with a worse battery, a worse refresh rate, etc. I realize it has a far better camera and some other perks, but you ignored the fact that the N200 has an equal amount of bonus perks too. Again, stop comparing this to a phone that's $100 more expensive

I'm a bit disheartened that it's not a full 5G phone. I'm not sure if it's even worth to buy it now or just get a 4G phone for cheap and just use the extra money on a 5G phone down the line. Hopefully, the real 5G will be out by then or far more affordable.

Btw, the phone had a software update since release. It's updated to android 12 and the new rom is smoother has no hang ups so far and the color in the pictures it takes is less washed out. The camera in this phone is definitely the weak point of this phone but the update made the photos acceptable. Great phone overall.

This is a rather poor review, sure you give some specs on the battery and other things. However, you neglect the details on the main purpose of a phone! How does it handle PHONE CALLS! I don't care much about a phone "camera" I have a real camera for real photos! Very few people ever talk about how the phone actually works...sheesh.

One thing lcd screens have a big advantage over oled. Every single iPhone I had with oled screen got screen burn in and ghost images sooner or later. LCD screens do not get that. And in my take better. Because even if a oled looks better it soon looks bad when u see everywhere in the screen burn in images. Yuck.

Definitely grate on paper but not in reality. The camera app that comes with it, try a better one and it won't work. So you get crappy images all around. One thing no one seems to know, this phone, when powered off, will power itself on again if you have alarms pending. It's great if you turn it off and forget to turn it back on and have an alarm coming up, but it's freaky when you have it powered off for whatever reason and it comes on by itself. Yes, it will turn itself back on. That's what makes it freakier. You hear the alarm going and run to the phone and since you missed the dismiss button, it just turned itself off and you are not sure what you heard. I had it off while testing another phone and I got freaked out when I heard the alarm ringing and it wasn't the phone I was holding.

I really don't care about photos I'm good with the pictures I take if you really cared that much get a better phone or camera. I had other high-end phones their cameras wasn't that good either.

N10 is probably the better value OnePlus 5G phone at $300 MSRP. I know it’s a bit of a cop out to say “Just spend more money on this better phone” as that simply isn’t an option for some people. But for $60 more, it has a way better SoC and a ultra wide angle camera. It does have a somewhat smaller battery, but 4300mAh is nothing to sneeze at and it supports 30W charging

I just got one of these on the T-Mobile promotion. There is nothing I like about this phone. Maybe I got a bad one, but... The battery life is awful. It will be down to 80% after just sitting for 8 hours. That is with the power saving on. It takes from 15 to 25 seconds for the messaging screen to populate, and as long to send a text. The screen auto rotate does not work on the messaging app. The auto screen rotate turns itself off every day at some random time. I have to turn it on again every day. All the apps are slow. The camera(s) are just blah. The screen edges are way too sensitive, and will cause the current action to freeze if even a little bit of a finger is near the edge. Don't even get me started on the 900 million bloatware apps that come with the phone. All the notification sounds are way too quiet. An easy fix I know, but not everyone works in a quiet office environment. The only phone I have had that was worse was a CAT S60.

I don't understand why she compares the Google 4a, a 600 dollar phone, to this one that is 250 lol why doesn't she compare it to a phone within that price range?
