Whatever the other issues around the ban, ultimately it's a very clear and obvious national security risk, not least because a huge amount of the money it makes goes to the Chinese government's uniparty under totalitarian rule. And that government buys and develops weapons. So TikTok funds the weapons of our largest adversary, who could attack Taiwan any day, forcing us into a military confrontation with an entity TikiTok is used to fund. This isn't complicated. The funds that TikTok takes in need to be going to us, not to our enemies.
