Cool, Striker is playable now. Don't expect much though, both Lightning storm and feather duster are legal since the time this deck was playable so... it may be a cool rogue deck but I don't believe it is meta viable and that is the point of the banlist, Engage should've just get limited to begin with.

So stoked to have this deck be remotely playable again. This deck unfortunately can’t apply the anti-spell theory of destroying two other cards with twin (unless you draw drones and a normal summon), but a card like lightning storm just doesn’t work in this deck. Twin or cosmic is the vibe (cosmic if you care about eldlich, which you shouldn’t because shark cannon runs that deck). I think strike is too broken not to play now, and I think the cynet universe/set rotation/mystic mine package is worth considering. Also, I think that triple tactics talent is worth considering as well. Everybody and their mother is going to be playing phantasmay now that striker is back, and TTT has crazy potential to punish that card.

Engage plus Benten is crazy searching every turn.kagari can be use to ritual benten specially when your have 3 spell card which easy to do in drytrons if your lucky you can search and draw card every turn kagari benten loop that is crazy its a good thing they are both limited you can search 2 card minimum every and draw1 every turn

I definitely think striker will be rouge/tier 2 but 1 engage isnt gonna save the deck. Multiple engage is what makes the deck insane, 1 is just a very good consistency piece

you should play linkuriboh instead of phoenix. This way you could make Ningirsu easier. After making Halq, summon veiler, link veiler into linkuriboh, then make Ningirsu. Then use Ningirsu eff to send your field, summon raye, Accescode. Its better than going stright to Seline since you got free non targeting send GY removal

I feel like prosperity is better than desires as you have plenty of extra deck cards you are willing to give up when you get to choose over risking banishing multi role and engage. Extrav is obviously also an option but the risk of banishing all your kagari/shizuku, while unlikely, could lose you a game. I know you usually are going into accesscode but still no borrelsword? Raigeki does nothing, play the one of called by the grave. Also, this isn't 2019, this list loses to lightning storm and duster, you need solemn judgements instead of mediocre hand traps like skull meister.

You can't afford to play prosp or extrav, you need all the cards in your extra deck, not to mention that those cards prevent you from plussing off engage. Halq into selene cannot summon borrelsword. Storm and hfd are not something you want to prepare against going first in game 1, you also have the side deck to counter those cards and handtraps are far more versatile than counter traps.

Some Striker decks play 0 desires because they don't want to banish too much stuff. . The thing about 3 desires is you're not playing a combo deck which just sees its opening 5 and maybe a topdeck next turn. Striker often blinds second, then draws a bunch off engage, then the game goes on quite a few turns after that because it's quite grindy. At that point, you've drawn a lot more of your deck, and you don't really want to draw more that one desires across the course of the game.

either chip damage with hayate(can attack directly), sometimes even under mystic mine(since you only control her your opponent is very likely to have more monster on field) or by going for a quick OTK using the Halq-Selene-Accesscode combo Yacine showed/included (Accesscode is 5300 usually + Raye with 1500 then Raye effect to tag her out for a SS link which is another 1500 = 8300 damage)
