She wanted the ring I told her bought her a new TV. She was watching the new TV. I went into the dining room and came back out with the engagement ring. I got down on one knee. She was so shocked she jumped up to grab the ring and knocked me backward, lol. She loved it and said yes as I was getting up. It was funny later but a shocker for both of us at the time. I’ve been waiting for this and asked for this in the past from you guys. I’ve been with my wife since I was 16. Thankfully, here we are 26 years later. I proposed when I was 19 and requested permission from both of her parents before doing so. We just renewed our vows for our 25 year anniversary last year and I would love to present her with a new ring at some point but they aren’t cheap and she deserves a new one. Congrats on the engagement ring line! Personally I love the look of the ring💍with the bridged halo around the diamond. If I were to be proposed to I would want to be admiring something beautiful on a hike on the way up to the peak of a mountain with my partner when he pops the question. To receive a natural diamond ring from him outside in the heart of nature would bring tears to my eyes. I would gladly wear a size 7 band for the 7 months we've been through together. Hi!! I got engaged December 9, 2009 to my hs sweetheart! He propsed to me in a knife shop (we collect knives) he had a knife case cleared out with one knife in it he had engraved "marry me" on it. It was so cool!! We have been together since like 2001 when we were 14 so we definitely had to wait to grow up a little haha! But then my dad got sick with cancer and we decided to wait to get married. After he passed away in 2011, we decided not to get married. What was the point? Well, just a few months later, I was in a freak accident and got crushed by a Jeep and almost died. When we were in the hospital, he didn't have any say in anything that was happening neither could he see me in certain areas because he was not my husband. Right there in the hospital, we decided we HAVE to get married. We were married October 31st 2013 and so just celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary! Unofficially it was decided on when we both said, “I think that I'd like to take that next step with you”. We'd known each other for 3.5 years, been dating for a month, and we just knew it was right. As we were talking on the night I proposed, I told her that thread hanging out my sleeve was bothering me and asked if she could get it. I finally did it a fancy dinner at a place downtown, drinks, and once we got home a very nice suprise and setup out in the lawn (lights spelled out marry me) and had our baby holding the ring box, very nice ring btw!!! it was awesome! I propose on July 4th. Went to this place called the woodlands waterway. Tried to ride one of the ferries there because we had talked about it for a while. But, they were closed! On September 1st I proposed to my boyfriend, and he said YES! (Squills and hugs) I had been thinking of doing it for a long time. Like a lot of millennial women I question tradition and how gender roles have and should change as we move forward as a society. I think my constant questioning is what gave me the clarity of mind and freedom to divert from tradition and follow my heart. Wow you guys are amazing. I never really got big proposal because I cant do to many social gatherings i get anxiety ...so when he proposed to me we were young and wild. One day decided we wanted to spend the rest of our lifes together so we planned our wedding and bought the rings we could afford at that time..with no help from anyone....and yes they are from Wal-Mart. With that said mine is in very poor condition and we sadly haven't been able upgrade them. I always say its best to communicate what you want and like. Raquel never ceases to amaze with the new items, those rings look amazing. I've been married for 10 years. Got engaged in Cabo San Lucas on the beach. I hesitantly handed over her ring and the manager brought it back sitting on top of a piece of Tiramisu (our fav. desert) with the words "Marry Me?" on the plate in chocolate. I love the new rings, they are beautiful! I proposed to my wife in a limo on New Year 1990. The first thing we did to start the 90’s was get engaged. What a special moment and we have had a life time of wonderful. This ring would not be for us. My oldest son wants to propose to his girlfriend. They have both recently graduated college and are trying to establish themselves. My son wants to go to grad school this August and they really don’t have a lot of extra money to buy a ring.
