Dang, just bought my first gold chain, wasn't aware its hollow 😮‍💨

Okay guys, hear me out. No cap, there is a video on KZbin from this guy who has had one for decades. Thousands of people have liked the video, and hundreds have commented how they never thought it was possible. Just search how to fix a herringbone. All you do is unclasp it, and hold it hanging and wiggle it and it will unkink itself. Some people have commented that baby powder helps as well. In the video the guy even kinks it on purpose and then fixes it. I wouldnt have bought one had I not seen his video. Another option is to not sleep in it, and always store it properly. Don't leave it on a desk or nightstand etc as they are very "snakey" and could fall and potentially kink.

Assumed a bracelet my mom gave me was costume jewelry. Imagine my surprise to learn it is 14K. It's yellow gold bars seperated by white gold balls. Strung on a thick, 14K franco style chain. Mid 20th century, Italian gold. I assumed it was fake and the white was chrome or silver plated, not white gold. I assumed the yellow gold bars were brass. It's 15.2 grams so I was pretty shocked when I found out. Also, it DOES respond to a magnet, but the guy still tried to offer me $500 for it. (I didn't sell it). Anyway....now I'm here learning about why some gold responds to magnets and I learned enough about hollow gold that I identified it in the display case, without touching, and the guy was shocked I even know the specific retailer. I was about to buy the same bracelet last week for $210 on Valentine's Day sale. This shop had the same one at $600. He said they bought it from a well known customer. I showed him the ad on my phone and suggested he lower the price AND indidcate it's hollow.

I got a silver one when I was like 8 my brother got me it an it always tugged the back of my lower heads hair lmao definitely was a pincher 😂

How do you know what size pendant can match with the size of the chain? I'm having difficulty understanding the sizes and what can fit them.

I had an 8MM 14KT Yellow Gold 20" Herringbone Chain I bought in 2018. Don't get me wrong. I paid fair for it because Gold wasn't at an all time high at that point. Long story short. It stretched like a slinky after 2 weeks. I sold it for scrap since I wasn't able to have it fixed. The end. 😂

I have one thing to say I would try to find verification that the ring you have in your possession is not a prototype ring! If this is a Prototype Ring that means you have the version before the accessible retail version and it could absolutely be worth more! I’ve notice for a bit that you only shout out customers that make the bigger dollar purchases on your Instagram page now. I’m in several groups and see that the “smaller” purchasers aren’t. All of your customers should be appreciated, especially given that everything on your site is overpriced.
